Cherry.tv is back with another seasonal promotion, and this time, it’s all about the beauty and elegance of Japanese culture. “Sakura’s Spell,” the second “season” of 2024, runs from April 8th to July 1st, offering you a chance to win rewards and over $40,000 in cash prizes.

Earlier in the year they had a “Dragon Season” event, which featured a fantasy theme with dragons and mythical elements, “Sakura’s Spell” takes a more traditional approach, focusing on the iconic Japanese cherry blossom.

If you are not familiar with it this is a big thing in Japan, people go out to admire the flower on the cherry trees – or cherry blossoms, known as “hanami,” which is a centuries-old tradition celebrated with picnics under the blooming trees. Now you’ll find cherry blossom trees all over the world, and it is a pretty thing. I’m not sure I see the connection with camgirls, because you’ll find very few Japanese camgirls, but hey any reason for a celebration!

You pay $49.99 to get a season pass, that lasts until the end of the season; about 80+ days if you buy now.

Both models and viewers can earn points during the promotion, which are called “Petals”, and these will get you rewards.

  • Earn 1 Sakura Petals for every token earned from viewers (limited to gifts, action gifts, custom tips, and action roulette)
  • Earn 1 Sakura Petals for every token earned from special shows (limited to private show, exclusive private show, group show, spies, and CamShare)
  • Earn bonus Sakura Petals for completing seasonal achievements (amount varies)

For Viewers

  • Earn 1 Sakura Petals for every token sent to models (limited to basic gifts, action gifts, custom tips, and action roulette)
  • Earn 1 Sakura Petals for every token sent from special shows (limited to private show, exclusive private show, group show, spies, and CamShare)
  • Earn bonus Sakura Petals for completing seasonal achievements (amount varies)

One of the main aspects of “Sakura’s Spell” is the variety of rewards on offer. They have had some very pretty themed graphics created. From traditional Japanese items like the Daruma Doll and Kokeshi Doll to the big Taiko Drum and Kitsune Mask, there’s something for everyone to recognise. The promotion of course also features cherry blossom-themed graphics everywhere.

In addition to the individual rewards, “Sakura’s Spell” will also recognize the top camgirls, with the top 24 overall models and top 10 upcoming models getting extra positioning. This not only encourages healthy competition but also I guess is a way to get exposure to more possible fans.

Compared to the previous “Dragon Season” event, “Sakura’s Spell” offers a slightly less nice theme, celebrating the beauty and traditions of Japan. The promo also goes on for a longer time so you have more of a chance, at this time I’m telling you about it right away!

With its pretty graphics, some rewards and quite some cash prizes the promo seems a good idea, if a bit busy and potentially confusing with the introduction of a Season Pass.

I think you’ll only want to play if you like the girls on Cherry, which is a good thing, but I guess if you are a fan of the Japanese culture then that would be a big plus.
