General:Operated by a leading British "Glamour Model" company the GlamourStarsLive.com website, which is identical to OTCams.com except for the colors, allows you to have live adult webcam chat with some famous and not-so famous professional nude models. These models are working professional models who do photo shoots that appear in magazines and newspapers in the UK. On their "bio pages" they actually list the magazines they have appeared in, and many of the gallery images are actually cover photos from men's magazines. So these are real "porn stars", although very soft-porn and perhaps minor stars. Not surprisingly though these busy models are not spending time online waiting to chat, or chatting to beggars hoping for tips. No, you have to actually book a session with them, or wait for one of their scheduled show times. When I checked in on the site Melissa Debling and Hannah Claydon were booked for shows tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. If you don't recognize those names then you're probably not a fan of UK Glamour models, but a quick search on Google Images will quickly show you who they are and that they have a substantial following.
Once you are logged in you can browse through the available models, and review their schedules. You can see when they are scheduled to be online as well as view their upcoming shows. They say that most of the models go to the site without scheduling though, but I must admit I'm not seeing any. Perhaps I'm in the wrong timezone to watch UK girls. Another way to find them is to use a "Desktop Alerter" which is a Windows only software that pops up notifications, I don't really see many people using that. I know some other sites tried to do software like that but how many people are willing to installing software like this? That's why notifications via Twitter etc are better as people are using that anyway, plus they can see it on their phone and go to a computer when they are notified. Not everybody hangs out at their PC all day! On the site there is a "rates" page with a huge table showing which models charge how much for what thing. It's slightly confusing at first as it unlike the typical webcam site where it is a "$x/minute" per show type. At GlamourStarsLive, and equally at OTCams, it is a flat credits/minute for chat, then set tipping amounts to get to a "higher level"; e.g. there are three levels from 1 to 3 being from tease through topless to nude.
Others are priced very similarly, there are a few cheaper and just a handful more expensive but this seems to be the basic rate. So the total price for a longish nude show, such as 30 minute, would work out at around $6.30/minute which is expensive considering you only get nude, no sex show as such. On the other hand some may feel this is a reasonable price for a private session with a "real model", e.g. one they have seen in newspaper/magazines. Unless you are a big fan of an individual model I'd say it was more like bragging rights than entertainment though. They have over 60 models in their list, but it's not clear to me how many are online regularly or how famous each one is. If you are British and might know one of them from your morning newspaper then this is a must see, otherwise it is probably of limited interest. If you'd like to comment more on glamourstarslive.com please let me know by posting here. Thanks. For Models:When you go for the "Become a Model" link it say right up front that you already need to be a pro-model... "Are you a professional glamour model?" is their first question, and you have to answer yes. Then emphasize that only glamour, tease, and up to nude is allowed. No explicit at all. So don't expect to do insertion shows here. This sounds like CandyCrib, also a UK site, and I wonder if this is the style in Britain or maybe it's just being in keeping with local laws there? But what happens in reality I'm not sure, like working in lap dance clubs where you are not allowed to touch the customer but in practice everybody does and so you have to in order to compete. So if you want to apply to be a model, not to join but to "apply", then fill in a brief form but importantly they want to see where your pictures have been published before, and what photographers you have posed for. No question this is really for working magazine models. If you do manage to work for them though they payout is 50% which is good, though not the most impressive in the world. I can't find any details about payout terms and methods though.
