iFriends gets to be the biggest one because they haven't stopped making new ideas.  They are the first one to have 'Fan club', Campilot (see explanation under 'pro for voyeurs') cam-to-cam and 3D video chat.  See below for more details of iFriends' features.

Servers unreliable sometimes.  Guys do expect you do put out and be pretty obedient as they are having to pay.  If you want to do free shows you can only do one a day.

There are a lot of complaints among the Exhibitionists that ifriends keeps changing the rules to make it more attractive to the Voyeurs.

• ifrinds has lots of girls, over 2,000 adult webcam, any kind you can imagine.  Very large company, seem pretty honest. Guys, if you sign up remember to check out my sessions! I do free ones when I can, but also some charged ones coz I have to pay the rent too!
   
• What is Cam2Cam?  It allows the chathost to see you while you are watching the chat host.  You need to be a VIP member though.
   
• CamPilot - as you can imagine, you can pilot the chathost's webcam.  Viewers can pan up and down, swivel left and right.  Give you more options and better angles.  So, look for chathosts with CamPilot symbol!
   
• TalkLive provides toll free 1-on1 telephone service when you are private with the chathost.  You have to be VIP member or Fan Club member to enjoy this.
   
• Fan Club:  You may have to pay $14.99 and $29.99 per month, depends on individual chathost, or it can be free if you are a regular viewer of this chat host.  If you are really a fan of her and video chat regularly and spend greater or equal to the membership fee, she will waive the monthly membership fee for the subsequent month.  So it's sort of free if you remain a 'videochat regular'

  Wake-up call:  You may receive her personal morning wake-up call by telling her  your phone number and the time each day you want her to wake you up

  The free iFrends FanClub Hotline is where the members can have private, personal contact with the chathost, via her toll-free number and extension.   You may even leave her a personal message there and she can pick it up any time.

  There, of course, will have the usual stuff like picture gallery and replay of her shows.  If you really like her, you may have a screen saver of her pics.

Recurring VIP Charges

When you sign up with ifriends, do watch out for small tick boxes.   They have a VIP package which is a recurring monthly charge.  It appears after you fill in your credit card detail and before the big 'Submit' button and it's automatically ticked.

There are some attractive stuff with the VIP status but do check out if that's the benefits you want and unmark it if you don't want these features.

18 May 04: ifriends has more and more adult webcam chathosts online - it has just over 2,000 girls home alone and not including 100 lesbians there, and a few tens couples, subservient, gay cams or other kinks.

It has also introduced the HDTV quality video which is of very high quality video stream.  I suppose you have to look out for chathosts who have the required quality equipment before the viewer can enjoy it.  I will investigate a bit more of this.  Come back later if you are interested in this topic.

19 Jan 04: I presume ifrends' staff were working very hard over Christmas.  This adult webcam giant has once again introduced new services. 

When I first found Amsterdamlivexxx I thought it's a wonderful idea you can switch to different webcams and have different view.  But now ifriends let you view from multiple camera angles at the same time, if the chathost supports multiple cams.  Maybe it's still new, at the moment there is only about 20 chathosts listed that support this feature.

Another feature is that you can choose your favorite by watching dozen or more cams at once, provided that  your bandwidth allows you to.  You know what you are going to see and I think it's important.  I don't like "surprise".  ;-)

10 Jan 04: What exactly is free?  Ordinary membership at ifrend is "free" (well $1 refundable), but "ClubVIB" membership at ifriends isn't free, only it is free if you know how. 

Lifetime membership with ifriends is free, but of course you need to give your credit card number (just in case you decide to pay for something), and by default they will join you to their VIP club which as I've mentioned below is not free! Of course you can always turn off that tick box and not be a VIP.  But even better I've noticed now in the fine-fine print is that you can get the benefits of the VIP club membership but not pay the fee by "contributing" to the site. 

One way to contribute is to be an ifriends chathost (which I approve of!) or perhaps easier, is to view the archive pics and help to rate or classify at least 25 a month (not exactly hard, you could do 25 in 10 minutes). 

So there you go, maybe free cost $1 but VIP membership ($6.95 per month) is actually free if you spend time looking at webcam sex show archive pictures.

What this means basically is they don't want to hire staff to sort through the millions of archive pics that people take of the chathosts in shows, so if they get you the members to do it for them, they'll happily waive VIP charges!
