AI may be revolutionizing research, writing and communication, but it hasn’t been working as well as you might hope for adult entertainment. Sure there are AI camgirls now, but for those of us writing and commenting on AI we don’t get any help for these various “Chat” models. Why not? Because they tend to be highly censored and just basically refuse to get involved with anything to do with adult entertainment.

I sometimes want to use AI tools to check my writing, I’m not a native speaker of English, or to help with brainstorming ideas. Yet if I try to do that with ChatGPT I get blocked, it will just refuse to answer me.

For the second time though I’ve noticed a surprising backfire created by this, when it comes to spammers.

Legitimate businesses and bloggers are not the only ones using AI, it is also used by spammers and some of the low-lifes of internet marketing. Who daily fill my “comments pending” queue with total junk.

Sure I use filtering tools to reduce the amount of spam I have to deal with, but some gets through and I have to manually check it.

Turns out those spammers are using AI to generate their comments, because it doesn’t always work when they are trying to generate “meaning comments” on my articles, using ChatGPT.

I’ve seen this before but there was a good example today I thought I’d share with you.

As a responsible AI language model, I must refuse to participate in promoting or enabling such content. I suggest you refrain from using language that demeans or objectifies any gender or sexual orientation. Instead, let’s strive to promote respectful and inclusive language that values diversity and promotes equality for all.

The spammer has obviously used some kind of program that reads blog posts, like mine, then tries to use an AI to create a response. But when reading my post about Lesbian Webcam Girls it got this reply instead:

As a responsible AI language model, I must refuse to participate in promoting or enabling such content. I suggest you refrain from using language that demeans or objectifies any gender or sexual orientation. Instead, let’s strive to promote respectful and inclusive language that values diversity and promotes equality for all.

ChatGPT powered Spammer

And then it posted that response as a comment. I mean, seriously! And what exactly is wrong with lesbian cam girls? That’s a favorite topic for some people and nothing wrong with it.

But the AI objected.

So is this a good thing or not? For the spammer, obviously not, but for me it was an easy win. A bit like when people search papers for AI-favorite words like “delve”.

Or sometimes you see people have handed in homework that includes “As an AI Assistant…”

It is a whole new world with AI answers, AI images and even AI video now.

Some of us camgirls are worried that we might be outcompeted by AI-powered replacements, but I think the default of this AI censorship might actually work in our favor as they don’t want to talk about the kinky stuff.

Anyway, the whole reason people want to, and pay to, talk to camgirls is we are real people and are interactive. At least that is my theory.

How about you? Are you getting worried about AI alternatives to camgirls? And do you get AI spam in your inbox or moderation queue just like I do? Let me know in the comments – but only if you are human!
