The European cam girl site XLoveCam has introduced a new feature for their webcam models; now the girls just need to speak aloud and their words are transcribed into text for the text-chat part of the show.

Don’t forget that they offer Topless on Mondays for free, 24 hours of non-stop titty goodness.

With several hundred cam girls online ranging from Young through to mature, and a handful of trans and male, they are well worth checking out.

There is even a “Just Chatting (soft)” category for those who want to talk more than just do hard-core cybercam sex. That’s a bit like the Camcontacts “Friends” section where you get to know people in a more natural way before deciding if you want a live sex show with them.

In that kind of room it is important to be able to chat and talk about yourself, but not everybody is a good typist and a model may be using her hands for something else. That is why XLoveCam decided that converting speech into text would be a good idea.

For the model that means her hands are free to do something more interesting than type.

Currently only four languages are supported but they are working on more and the list of should grow. The feature can be activated in free chat and private show.

It seems the system only is for the models, but conceptually wouldn’t this be good for viewers as well? Particularly those who are using a mobile phone and don’t want to bring up the on-screen keyboard and obscure their view of the model.
