Several web cam chat sites offer a monthly subscription to a premium membership that gives you more benefits. Each site has a different idea as to what counts as a benefit, and the rules change from time to time. For example, Bongacams used to have a VIP Membership monthly subscription, but they have retired that and changed to “ranks” that depend on your total lifetime spending.

The sites that still offer memberships on a monthly basis generally give a range of added benefits to attract you, but really the main idea is to make you stick to their site so that any tipping or privates you do are on their site.

Monthly membership subscriptions are available at Chaturbate, Stripchat, Cam4, Cams.com, Flirt4free and Camsoda.

Read below for details of what is included and how you will be billed.

Things to watch out for

Just as anything in life “good deals” are not necessarily good for you, they are created by the companies in order to be good for them. If you like the deal it may still be worth your while, but you do have to pay attention the fine print.

  1. These are all recurring charges that will be billed to your credit card, whichever card you used to sign up with first.
  2. Even if you bought credits using some other form of payment the monthly is going to be via credit card.
  3. Stopping the subscription may require you to talk to customer support, not all of them allow you to simply turn it off on your profile
  4. The “Free tokens” is only a one-off, except for F4F where it is monthly

Chaturbate Supporting Memeber

Cost: $19.95 / Month

Become a “Supporting member” at Chaturbate to get rid of the ads, have unlimited private messaging, and a range of other benefits as below.

When you first sign up for the monthly subscription there is a bonus of 200 tokens free, but that is only one time.

A whole 4 cents a month more expensive than Chaturbate, but “Ultimate” membership at Stripchat.com has its benefits. This replaces the “Gold Membership” offer I wrote about before.

You can only be Knighted in a room and get to be a moderator if a model chooses to Knight you, but at least it is possible. If you are not an ultimate member then even if she likes you she can’t make you a moderator.

As with CB the membership at SC provides for anonymous tips, though I’ve yet to see anybody use those so I’m not seeing them as very popular. I think guys mostly want people to know that they are tipping, that’s part of the thrill and something of a showing-off to be the one who tips.

What’s the point if nobody knows you are doing it?

Cam4 Gold Membership

Cost: $19.99 / Month

At Cam4 the monthly subscription is the same cost and gets you “Gold Membership”. This one also has a free token bonus for the first time you sign up, it makes it a bit clearer that this is a one-time-only bonus.

Once you are a gold member then you get special offers, but those are variable and don’t always apply so don’t count on those too much.

What you will get for sure is a removal of all the ads, access to the automated translator, and one “gold gift” to give to the model of your choice. That is one per month you can hand out.

It isn’t a very exciting set of offers really given that you could get the first two for free with an ad blocker and Google translate. But of course, it is more convenient if it is built-in. Whether this is worth almost $20 a month is up to you to decide.

Cams.com Premier Memebership

Cost: $19.99 / Month or $13.99/month for 3 months (billed at $41.97)

You have two choices at cams.com to get “Premier membership”, the typical $20/month subscription or you can pay every three months and it is cheaper overall. You do have to pay in advance for 3 months though so it depends if you are a dedicated customer or not. I don’t think anybody who isn’t a great fan and has a favorite girl or girls would be signing up for membership anyway so that is ok.

Once you are a premier member then you can get discounts for future live video shows, plus see the recorded shows girls have uploaded.

How much extra content you will get to see depends on how much they have uploaded, so don’t expect too much as it does vary.

Flirt4free Subscriptions

Cost: $39.95 (with 150 credits monthly)/m or $49.95 with 300 credits

Two choices are available at Flirt4Free, and they are the most expensive choices here. You get what you pay for though when you consider that these monthly subscriptions include free credits each month.

Either go with the basic $39.95 monthly price and get 150 credits each month, or for $10 more you get double that at 300 credits to use each month.

As well as the free credits you get some extra powers.

Camsoda Premium Membership

Cost: Premium members for $9.95 / month

Being a premium member at Camsoda is the cheapest option on this list. For only $9.95 / month you get the benefits. This is down from their previous pricing which was the same as most sites at $19.95.

The old deal included some “free” tokens, but that isn’t the case anymore. When you subscribe to Camsoda’s premium membership what you get is this:

  • Stealth mode

Notice the anonymous tipping again and the stealth mode which basically invisibility.

I’m not seeing the benefit of either of these choices but if multiple sites are doing it then I presume it has some reason.

Rampant.TV VIP Subscriptions

Cost: £9.95 to £9.95

Three different levels from Gentleman at 9.95 British pounds, through High roller at 19.95 to the top level of Playboy at 29.95 are available at this excellent British cam site.

Each one gets you the ability to record the live shows and play them back from your “locker”.

The top level also gives you private videos and a place to save your own content. The main advantages is being able to private message the cam girls as well as get “forum points” at a double rate.

Amateur.TV

Cost: 4.95€/ month

Upgrade to the Premium membership at this Spanish cam girl site, which also has good English support, and get a 2500 coins “welcome gift” in the first month.

After that your 4.95 Euro monthly fee, about US$5.75, will get you a bunch of benefits including:

Defunct monthly memberships

Bongacams used to have a monthly package, but they have dropped that in favor of a simple ranking according to how much you’ve spent.
