One of the newer sites that includes live camming is Adultnode.com. At least newer to me, in fact the site was started in 2016, but really only seems to have taken off recently.

[created in May 2016] with the goal of providing a cost-effective and secure platform for users to host and stream their adult content.

The whole creator-content / OnlyFans-clone topic is growing rapidly and with more of them adding live video streams, basically webcam chat, they are looking a lot more interesting to me.

I’ve talked about how I’ve used the LoyalFans site to broadcast my video live, and even though that is mostly a “content” or posting site it works perfectly well for live streaming as well. In fact, I find it better than OnlyFans for myself as I can get different types of followers to come into my chat room.

AdultNode.com provides a place for me to post pictures and vids, and I’ve posted just a small sample to try it out, but it also has a Go Live function that takes me to a live chat room.

Pushing the button lets me set up a stream as either a public or a private show.

As I want the maximum number of people to see me I’ll set up a public show for free.

While I’ve tried doing this from my laptop I couldn’t get the video feed to work, nor to show the text chat window on my screen. What did work for broadcasting was using my phone to broadcast and my laptop to be in the chat.

Once it starts up the broadcast window is quite conventional as far as video is concerned.

When people come into my room and type I can see the text, but there is no way for me to reply using this screen.

I can use a laptop to go into my room and type, as myself, into the chat.

Only it isn’t really chatting, it is commenting on a real-time post I’m creating.

When I finally “End” the show it becomes a video post, with anything that was typed as comments on the post.

As a viewer creating an account is easy. You can use Twitter to do a social login, or an email and password.

You can’t proceed until you have verified your email, so make sure you use a real one and one that you can get to easily. The emails are from “Nobody” and have a subject of “Just one more step to get started on AdultNode” so not that discrete.

Once your account is email verified then you get to set up a profile with some basic info, including a chance to subscribe or follow both individual models and various categories.

I presume those choices help to determine what sort of material you are going to see.

What you won’t see is a lot of live broadcasters, and that’s a shame because there is plenty of potential here. When I tried to test the Go Live feature I turned out to be the only person online who was live.

Once my stream was live my viewers could write to me, like me or tip me.

The site needs viewers to buy tokens first before they can tip or buy paid posts.

Prices are denominated in $ when I set the price for a picture post or a video or stream, but viewers are paying in “Tokens”.

You can choose from 60 tokens for $9 all the way up to 700 tokens for $90. That’s a discounted or free “10 bonus tokens” for the larger purchase.

Payment is via PayPal, Credit card or Cryptocurrency.

Although PayPal is safe as a buyer I’m not sure that it is wise for an adult entertainment site to be offering payment via PP as they are not very adult friendly. I’d rather go with the Cryptocurrency payments using CoinPayments.net if I want some more privacy or safety.

That payment gateway accepts Bitcoin, including Lightning, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and all the common types of cryptocoin you might want to use.

Although I’ve set up a model account at AdultNode, and that required me to do verification using a government ID and an ID-next-to-my-face picture as is quite standard these days, I don’t fully understand the deal. How much of the income does the model get? It couldn’t see that and will have to read in more detail for my upcoming detailed review.

What I can see is that the minimum withdrawal request amount is $100 and there are only two ways to withdraw money, PayPal and Skrill. At least that’s how it seems and I hope there is in fact some way to get paid via other payment systems.

Have you tried AdultNode.com? Either as a model to broadcast, to promote your content and shows elsewhere, or as a viewer or fan?

Let me know in the comments or try it out now and let me know your thoughts!
