No, this is not a pre-Halloween message. Nood.TV founder Chloe has decided not to proceed with the plan to do a public launch and “version 1.0” of this small, classy, and modern cam site.

Today members received a notification saying that Nood TV was “abandoning its plan for 1.0 release” and “shutting down its beta“.

The reasons revolve around the difficulties of getting traffic and competing with other cam sites.

Reactions are pretty positive though sad.

Broadcasters were quick to warn their fans about using up or refunding their outstanding tokens before Friday.

Models who had found the site to be a great match for them are extra disappointed.

Just days ago people were saying why they preferred Nood over other major cam sites such as Camsoda, CB, and MFC.

After careful consideration of the current state of the industry, the difficulties in acquiring traffic and competing with other platforms, we decided to cancel our planned 1.0 release. The work will continue on the platform software at https://stage.do for anyone interested.

Creators can exchange their tokens for dollars as per usual. We will process tokens exchange requests daily until December 1st. Members with unspent tokens balance can request a refund by contacting the Stage Help Desk at https://help.stage.do
