Getting closer to your favorite cam girl is what we all want to do, even me as a camgirl myself I like to connect with my camgirl-crushes, and cam2cam is a great way to do that.

Most sites offer a way for you to turn on your PC or phone camera and broadcast yourself so that she can watch you while you enjoy watching her. Or if you are a gay man and want to do joint jerking then it is a must.

Even JOI works better if she can see you, and while a few dedicated Skype sites let you do face-to-face (or other body part) conversations on my camgirl sites it is done via a cam2cam feature.

This is where it gets technical, if you don’t normally use your webcam outside of a work Zoom call then you’ll have to grant permissions on your computer, phone and browser so that the website can take your video feed and show it to the camgirl.

But what about when you have finished? Giving a porn site permission to activate your camera, and microphone, is fine if you want to do a cam-to-cam conversation right now, but you might reasonably want to revoke that permission later.

While cam2cam shows can be great fun, they do also pose significant privacy risks. Many viewers may have granted camera and audio permissions to camsites, but then want to turn it off later just to be on the safe side.

This guide shows you how to do that, to remove, revoke and cancel any permissions you have given to a camgirl site to access your camera, and just as importantly, your microphone.

Take these steps to protect your personal information and protect against any future flaws in a website that might cause your private data to be exposed.

A. Desktop

1. Windows – Chrome

  • Step-by-step guide to revoking camera and audio permissions all at once on Chrome:
    • Open “Settings” in the three-dot menu
    • In the left menu choose “Privacy and security”
    • At the bottom of the list choose “Site settings”
    • Scroll down and select “Camera”
    • In the list of websites choose which ones to “delete” using the trashcan icon so that they are no longer allowed to use your camera
My cam permissions

As you can see I have a group of sites that are allowed to use my camera, and some that are not. By removing permissions for the camgirl sites after each session, I ensure my privacy is maintained.

Once you have removed the camera permissions that you want to then you can go back to the previous screen and this time choose “Microphone” to remove microphone permissions as well.

These instructions work on Windows with Chrome.

2. Mac – Safari

  • Step-by-step guide to removing permissions one site at a time.
  • Navigate to the website you want to revoke camera permissions from:
    • Open the Safari menu next to the Apple logo on the top left
    • Choose “Settings for This Website…”
    • In the settings box look near the bottom for “Camera” and “Microphone”
    • Each one can be set to “Ask”, “Allow” or “Deny”.
    • If you have used Cam2cam before you probably have set it to Allow, all you have to do is click the setting and change it to Deny and the website can’t turn on your camera anymore.
    • Don’t forget the Microphone permission as well!

Here is a video run-through to make it clearer

  • Click on these
    • Open “System Preferences.”
    • Go to “Security & Privacy.”
    • Click on the “Camera” and “Microphone” tabs.
    • Uncheck access for unwanted applications.

B. Phone

1. Android

  • Step-by-step guide:
    • Open “Settings” from the three dots menu, it is right near the bottom of the menu so you have to scroll.
    • Again scroll to near the bottom to find “Site settings”
    • This page shows the permissions for the current website, you can easily change the Camera and Microphone settings by clicking on those icons
    • You could also click the “All sites” option at the top of the screen to see a list of all the websites that have some special permission, and go and delete the camera and microphone permissions from camgirl sites

Or, you can block camera access to Chrome, or Edge, entirely by using the app permissions. Here is a video on how to do that.

2. iOS – Blocking all camera access

For phones using iOS I’ll show how you can block all camera access to your browser, which is the safest though most extreme blocking.

Check out this video for a detailed walk-through.

After you’ve disabled the camera permissions, follow the same steps to disable microphone permissions. This will ensure that the cam site can no longer access your audio or video without your explicit consent.

Stay safe out there…

Camming is great fun, and a good hobby and a way to connect to people, but like everything there are risks. Manage those risks properly to continue enjoying spending time with me and other camgirls.

Make sure you want to be seen by a camgirl before you do cam2cam, and if you are worried about camsites watching you without your permission then make sure to turn off the access later.

Have fun, and let me know if you have any questions (or corrections) about this! Leave me a comment to let me know.
