Would you like to see your favorite cam girl more clearly, and without having to hold a handheld device? Everybody has multiple screens these days, from mobile phones to PC, laptops to their TV big and small. Why not show her on that large flat screen mounted in your den or living room?
At first, I had never thought about this but one day a viewer in my chat room at Chaturbate asked to do cam 2 cam, and he let me see his great apartment and pointed out that his giant wall-mounted LED TV was showing my video.
What do the camgirls think
Some camgirls are ok with the idea but many are more like me and feel at best ambivalent and at worst weirded out by the idea.
Although we are used to being seen on a PC or a phone most of us never give any thought to being on your TV. Given that so many cam girls are not entirely comfortable with the idea then you should consider just not telling them.
While a camgirl is happy to “expose” herself in a public or private chat room it doesn’t really matter how the video is being watched. If she is being paid, via tips or in a private show, then you are keeping up your end of the bargain.
Big Screen TV and privacy
The only time when it really matters is if you are broadcasting to a TV and make a mistake that threatens her privacy. Are your shades or blinds drawn? Is your home network secure so that no neighbors or other people in the house might see the live porn video? These are the things to consider.
On the plus side for both the viewer and the model is that a big screen is bigger. That means there is less need to keep asking her to move closer to the cam to get a good view, and hence a more natural pose and positioning is possible.
Most viewers of cam girls are mostly interested in that the show goes the way they like, and that the cam girl is happy about it. They are not particularly into video quality or such, but at the same time a blurred image, low-quality video or audio can break the mood.
Having decided that it is a good idea to use a TV, and whether or not to tell the camgirl she is on the big screen, the next question is now to do it.
This part is going to vary according to the technology in your house, but there are a few main ways.
The big screen should be Smart
You’ll want a modern TV for this, one that was made in the last 10 years is liable to be a smart TV and has an internet connection.
Can you watch YouTube or NetFlix on your TV? If the answer is yes then that’s smart enough, as both YT and NF are basically websites and if your TV can display them then it can also display Chaturbate, Stripchat and similar ccamgirl sites.
Some TVs don’t have this built in but you can use something that plugs into the back that makes it smart enough.
Devices such as Google Chromecast TV, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and Apple TV all turn your regular TV into a Smart one.
Samsung TVs come with it built in.
The signal from your PC or phone to the TV is usually sent via “Casting” for Google/Android/Chrome users, or via “AirPlay” for iPhones and Macs.
From Cam Site to TV
To make this work first decide on which cam site you are going to use to steam to your TV. It works similarly with most sites but Stripchat, Chaturbate and Bongacams, MyFreeCams, and Cherry.TV are good choice to get started with.
The first two are just big and reliable sites, while the next 3 have explicit support for Chromecast.
For Chrome users on a PC or Mac
- Get the website loaded on your device and log in as normal.
- Use the three dots menu “⋮” and choose “Cast…”
- Then select your TV and see the video
Troubleshooting:
Depending on your TV you might have to select a different “Source”. If you don’t see anything on your TV screen then press the Source button on your remote and toggle between the different options to see which one is receiving the cast from your computer.
If you can’t see anything on the Cast menu then your TV is not working as a Chromecast device. Check it is turned on and try casting from your phone using YouTube to see if the TV is working.
You might have to reset your TV if it can’t be found.
Check the manual or the online specification of your TV to make sure it can handle Chromecasting.
If it can’t then consider either getting a new TV with Chromecast built in, or buying an external Chromecast dongle that plugs into the HDMI port on the back of your TV.
For Safari users to Chromecast
Presuming you are using Safari because you have an iPhone/iPad then you’ll want to get the Google Home app from the Apple App Store. That will let you mirror your whole screen.
For Mac users of Safari, you are better off looking for a TV that supports Apple AirPlay. Either a TV that has it built in such as the Sony Bravia KD49XH81, or by getting the Apple TV 4K device that plugs into your TV.
For Samsung Phone users
If you have Samsung Phone then you have Google Home and Chromecast built-in.
Use the Smart View button on your notification shade to mirror your phone to your TV. This requires that you have both a Samsung Phone and a compatible Samsung TV.
Although Samsung has its own screen mirroring technology between its smartphones and its own brand of TVs it isn’t necessary. This also works with any Android-based phone and a Chromecast-compatible TV.
Things that won’t work:
Old-style non-smart TVs – if your TV is just a TV with no internet connection then it isn’t going to work, except by plugging an HDMI cable between your laptop and the TV.
TVs that don’t have an HDMI port – if your TV is so old it doesn’t even have an HDMI port, and that means it is probably 20 years old, then you are really out of luck and need to buy something new
Camgirls on Projectors
Want to have a camgirl do a show for the whole gang at a party? Maybe a projector is what you need.
There are projectors that can throw an image up on a wall or big screen and that are Chromecast compatible meaning you can display your phone screen up there. Or if you have a laptop just plug in an HDMI cable from your computer to the projector.
Do you want a camgirl to be the virtual stripper at a stag night or bachelor party? That would certainly be a way to do it, but you really should let her know in advance and be prepared to take her into a private chat room for privacy.
In such a case then it is up to you to ensure that everybody watching is of legal age. The law on something like this isn’t known to me but is probably variable between states. Just be decent and make sure that nobody who should not, or doesn’t want to, watch a camgirl show is not in the room.
Camgirls on Game Console
Anybody with a game console is going to have it plugged into a decent screen, if not a high-end giant gaming monitor at least a big TV.
You will find that any gaming console that can play the latest game, such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, comes equipped with web browsers that enable users to view websites.
That means you’ll be able to view camgirl sites via a game console as well.
If you want to use a game console to watch girls playing games, well that’s a different topic.
But if all this talk of Chromecast and AirPlay and Smart View is too much, then try simply browsing to CB or Stripchat on your device.
The usual security recommendation applies though, if you want privacy then you had better ensure that the device is only being used by you.
Have you watched camgirls on a big TV screen? Have you watched me? Let me know in the comments, and as a geeky camgirl, I’d like to know what sort of technology you used!
Thanks for replying anyway
I just tried it on my PC with Chrome and it worked fine. Ok there were lots of "warning" messages…
Ah, security gets in the way of everything doesn't it! That's a shame. I wonder if it is fixable. I'm…
