Don’t be that guy ok? I’ll accept that most of you who annoy cam girls are probably doing it by accident, but if you are not intending to be annoying then you should stop. Not everything annoys every girl who works on cam, but there are a lot of common things that you could avoid to be more pleasant and hopefully end up with a better interaction with the cam model you are watching.

These are things that either annoy me, or I’ve seen other cam girls agree are annoying. Perhaps it is different for some, so nothing is universal, but if you want to be on the safe side you should avoid these, at least initially.

Annoying things to say / type

  • “Where are you from? “

This just makes you sound like a stalker.

Don’t think that it is a “conversation starter”. It comes across more like “this guy wants a real life girlfriend”, and that is a no-no for most cam girls.

Now sadly there do exist a few disreputable cam girls who are going to lie to you and pretend they are going to meet you just to get more money from you, but the vast majority of webcam performers are entirely honest that this is an online-only, strictly virtual, entertainment.

Presuming you don’t want to be a stalker, not sound like a stalker, and you don’t want to be conned by a dishonest cam girl, then you might as well just leave the location out of the conversation.

Many cam girls put down some kind of vague location in their bio, and if they do that’s fine though you have to realize it could be entirely fictional. Believe it or not believe it as you prefer, but don’t emphasize it “Oh, you’re from city x, I love that pizza place down by the river, have you been there?” Again, that’s just a stalker vibe.

Personally I tell people I’m from “Cyber space” and that’s as close as I want to get in terms of details.

ProLifeTip: If someone doesn’t answer a question after the first, or second, time you ask that is a clear indication that they don’t want to answer.

  • “How old are you?”

This is a lot like the previous annoying questions about location. Either her age is listed in her profile or bio, it it isn’t. In the latter case she doesn’t want to talk about it.

Neither where a cam girl lives, nor how old she is, is a good “conversation starter”. This isn’t a club where you are chatting up girls at a bar so you had better change up your routines.

This also isn’t one of those old message chat rooms where you go in and as “asl?” (age sex location) because you are too lazy to type full sentences.

  • “Open Chest BB”

Lucikly this has mostly died out but it used to be a really common thing to see and it is so annoying for a number of reasons. For a start, and probably most annoying is that I and no other cam girl likes to be addressed as “BB”. I’m not a baby, I’m not your baby and I’m sure not a BB.

The whole “open chest” thing seems to be some kind of bad translation that gained traction and became a synonym for “show me your tits”. That would be a much more direct phrase that I’d be happier to hear, but won’t act upon unless I wish to do so.

Yes, it is nice that you want to see my breasts, but it isn’t as though you are automatically entitled to see them.

  • “PM”

Try asking why you want to talk in private rather than just saying “pm”.

Most of the time I’d rather not take the conversation in PM as it takes my attention away from whatever else I’m doing, plus it is hard to have multiple PM windows and the main chat all on the screen at the same time.

I don’t mind text chatting in the main room, then everybody gets to see and participate and I only have one window to keep track of.

But if you want “private” messaging when a cam girl is in public, then you need to pay for the time and effort in some way.

More than that, just saying “PM” with nothing else is annoying. Not “please can you PM me” or “I’d like to discuss something in private, can we PM”.

Ok not everybody is a great typist, but seriously, just two letters? It comes off as simply lazy, rude and entitled.

  • “Do you chat on Skype / WhatsApp?”

Not unless the cam girl is working on a Skype cam girl site, otherwise this is a violation of the site rules. Basically you are asking the cam girl to risk loosing her account on the site, is that what you really want?

If you are trying to find people who are camming non-commercially for fun then you shouldn’t be at a regular cam girl site, but go to a community cam site where, yes, there are girls, but not exactly the ones you probably want.

Want to watch bored housewives with dark grainy video and no interest in pleasing you? That’s ok, but is not what we are really talking about when we say “cam girl site” is it?

  • “Lower your private rate and I’ll take you pvt?”

This is not a fish market, cam girls are not going to bargin or haggle over the price.

  • Anything with “mommy” in it

Do I have to say why? I hope not.

You’re probably going to get banned and/or reported so be prepared to lose your account.

  • Anything with “piss” in it

Generally a no-no because it is against the rules.

An exception here is that it is ok in a limited number of situations.

There are cam girl sites where you can see girls pissing on cam . Don’t ask on other sites that forbid this though.

And that includes the next annoying thing.

  • Asking to break the rules and pretend it is an accident

You need to realize that everything is logged, both video and text messages.

Including the “private” PM messages.

That means if you PM a girl and ask her to piss while pretending it is squirt then she will get in just as much trouble as if you asked for it in public.

One girl recently lost her cam site account because she really accidentally vomited while doing a dildo blow-job. Which is a natural thing that happens sometimes, but vomit is forbidden and the company moderators thought she had done it on-purpose-by-accident as the viewer gave her a big tip afterwards.

Perhaps the tipper was just trying to be kind given that she had hurt herself trying to please him, but the cam site wasn’t to know that. If it looks like a deliberate rule-breaking then there goes her account, and her following and her income.

Not a happy day for that cam girl, so don’t even ask for it.

Annoying things to do

  • Hang out in a girl’s room for hours, even days or weeks and never say anything.

If you want to just watch and never interact, then maybe Voyeur houses should be your thing. For the cam girl this is either annoying or sometimes neutral but not a positive

  • As above, hanging out in the room and tipping like 1 token a day and acting like you are being super generous if you tip 25 and she should be over the moon and grateful

Cam girls are online as a job, they are there to entertain and earn some income.

Do you know how little value 1 token is?

Depending on the site that is 1 or half a cent.

Although cam girls do connect their tips to their internal vibrators the buzzes alone are not enough to either pay the rent or feel good.

If you have a low budget then say so and maybe save up your tokens for at least the default 25

This includes using one of those yellow wall scripts, which while technically interesting, do annoy most girls because lots of little buzzes are more like wearing out your pussy, not finding pleasure in it.

  • Tip 1 token then ask for something priced on the menu at 50

If girls have a menu then that means they have decided the pricing for things they are willing to do.

Either you can’t read or you are not respecting her, neither of which is good.

  • Don’t read her bio or profile and totally ignore what it says

Some girls have particular rules or requirements and they spell them out in detail in their profiles. If you want to interact with girls like that then you better do your homework and read up.

If a girl says, for example, that she doesn’t do anal and then you go into her room and ask for anal then that’s just annoying.

Those girls who don’t fill out their profiles, or just put in some generic fluff then ok sure that’s ok to ignore that.

  • Get offended when she engages with other people in the room, particularly if they are typing and you are not

A bored cam girl may be happy to chat to you even though you not tipping because she doesn’t want to be… bored. But when a paying, or potentially paying customer, comes into the room then that’s where her attention will go. That customer is her job and if you are not then it is natural that she will shift her attention.

Cam girls are not your girlfriends, not even your friends, even though they are friendly.

If you are a cam girl let me know what else annoys you.

Or for viewers, what have you done that you think might have annoyed, but maybe shouldn’t have?
