First, login to MFC.

Visit MyFreeCams

Now in the Menu on the right, click “My Account”

On the next screen, you get a choice of different account functions.

Choose the option “Deactivate Account”

There is now another click you have to do on “Click here to deactivate your account.”

Now you are at the Deactivate Account screen, read the warnings then check that your Username and Password have been automatically filled in correctly.

Finally, click the button “DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT”.

Once your account is deactivated, you cannot login again, and if you were a premium member then you lose that.

Also notice that they don’t actually guartnee that they will delete all your information, according to their private policy although yo umay “request that we delete your Personal Information by “deactivating your account” in your My Account page.” then will “retain in our files certain data such as information used to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, comply with credit card merchant banking and association agreements, enhance security, reduce fraud, comply with Federal and State law, or to enforce any agreements, policies, and rules governing your use of our website“.

So basically they are archiving your account so it can’t be used, and won’t be found, but for their legal, financial and business reasons they are not actually deleting everything.

I’m not sure that this in full compliance with laws in some places, like where they have “right to be forgotten”, but I’m not a lawyer and in practice, if your account is deactivated that is as good as you are going to get.

Why do you want to delete your account at MFC anyway? I can think of some reasons such as :

  • You’re spending too much on tipping girls and want to stop
  • You are yourself a model and decided to change careers
  • You’ve annoyed someone and they recognise your account so you want to delete and start again – that applies to both viewers and models I suppose

Am I missing something? Is there another way to completely erase your data?
