For a while now, I’m not sure how long, you’ve been able to send and receive images in the Chaturbate PM window. It is a bit basic compared to some other sites, and isn’t monetized at all, but at least you can choose a jpg, send it in chat, and let the other person see it.
This is only for PM between models and viewers, not for DM, only PM. In case you’ve lost track:
- PM = Private Messages, the original separate text chat tab within a chat room
- DM = Direct Messages, the new person-to-person text chat that works anywhere on the site.
What is new is that images now work properly on mobile devices, allowing viewers to share images seamlessly while sitting on the couch using a phone.
This fix should mean more people use it, though to be honest nobody has tried to send me a pic in a PM so far. If you are reading this, try looking for me in my Chaturbate chat room and send me a picture of something. I’m curious to see what creative or funny images you might come up with!
