PayPal is a popular way to do online shopping and most people have an account because they’ve used it to buy from eBay or other online stores, so it makes sense to use PayPal to buy Camgirl tokens or credits.
The problem is that PayPal.com the company is not that keen on doing business with adult entertainment sites, or being involved in anything “adult” or porn-related in any way.

Today I looked and found that PayPal is back for buying My Free cams.com tokens, but now the gateway has changed. Now the Pay Pal option at MFC uses Segpay.
The Segpay.com gateway is used as a payment processor by many porn sites, including live cam girl sites, and most of the time Segway accepts credit cards for payment. However at MFC they are using Segpay exclusively for their PayPal transactions.
If you want to use a credit card “directly” with MFC then you have to use one of their three gateways. These are CCBill, Netbilling and RocketGateway.
The first two are old-timers and have been around for years, but the last one is new to me.
All three of them accept Visa, Mastercard and Discovery Card. That must be the decision of MFC as I’m sure those billers can accept more card types, but MFC doesn’t choose that for some reason.
Paypal works for MFC tokens via Segpay
The fourth payment method at MFC is “PayPal via Segpay“. Only Paypal works for buying MFC tokens via Segpay and you don’t get any option.
Unlike at some cam girl sites, the purchase options at MFC work regardless of what country you come from, so you should be seeing this option regardless of where you live of whether you are using a VPN or not.

When buying MFC tokens don’t forget that the price varies according to how you many tokens you buy at a time.
It is always 200 tokens for $19.99 as a basic package. You can get it cheaper by buying in bulk but only as low as 900 tokens for $74.99.
That difference is only two cents per token but that may add up over time.
The price of tokens at MyFreeCams is the same regardless of whether you take advantage of this PayPal via Segpay option or whether you use the regular credit card method. Unlike some sites they don’t offer discounts for payment methods that they prefer.
Advantage of using PayPal to by MFC tokens
Probably the biggest one is avoiding having any statements, be they PayPal, credit card bills or bank statements say anything about a live cam site if you would rather other people don’t know you are a cam girl tipper.
Instead, when you buy your tokens in this way your credit card statement is only going to say PayPal*Segpay, which is the right thing for privacy.

This is all about buying MFC tokens. If you are a cam girl and you earn tokens and want to sell tokens to get cash then PayPal is not an option. There are plenty of choices, but that isn’t one of them. Briefly, they are ACH, Check, Wire, Paxum, CosmoPayment, ePayServices, EPayments, Skrill and PMI Americas.
