If you go to a bricks-and-mortar strip joint you’ll be paying cash, whether it is handing over to the girl directly, paying a concierge or tucking bills into a g-string, it is all folding money.

That isn’t true on cam sites, have you ever wondered why?

And I’m not just talking about the fact that you can’t stuff dollar bills into your laptop, but the fact that what you pay the girls isn’t a simple dollar figure.

No, at camgirl sites it almost (not quite always) it is almost always in terms of tokens, credits or coins.

And there are two very good reasons for that, three if you consider my perspective as a camgirl.

Three reasons for Tokens

What are those reasons? They come down to safety and security.

Firstly, taking cash values out of the equation means that you don’t pay the model directly. There is no way for her to get your card details or for her to even know the real name y ou have on your card or any of your bank details.

This is important, because when you “meet” a camgirl online basically you know nothing about her, about her working environment, about her boss if she is in a studio, or exactly how desperate she is for money.

A bit desperate we know otherwise she wouldn’t be flashing tits for cash, but is she hard up enough to try to scam you? While 99% of camgirls are perfectly honest it only takes 1 to empty your bank account.

If, that is, she has access. And this is why having the camsite operator between you and her is important for your safety.

Yes you give over your card details to a porn site, or at least to the payment processor they are using, but but that’s a calculated risk you take when you visit any online service, not just cam sites. What you don’t want is the girl herself to get those details, and she doesn’t.

In all my years, and I’d rather not think about how many, I’ve been camming I have not once had access to my viewers’ payment details. And I’m happy with that, and so should you be.

There’s the first reason, and that’s the one that matters most to you. Protection.

A Second Reason

Secondly, using tokens also protects the camgirl, that’s me. When you make a payment to the cam site they are holding your cash, and then when you tip me or take me private those monies are sent to me.

Not immediately, they go into my balance first and then I’ll cash out at the end of a period of days, but they go to me. And here is the point, you can’t take it back. If you’ve tipped me for something you wanted, I’ve done what you wanted, and now I feel safe that the dollars (or cents, if you are a cheap 1 token kind of guy) are mine.

Third Reason

What’s the third reason?

Well that one isn’t so happy for me, and you might not like it either, but the cam site makes the rules here.

The third reason i that it lets the cam site take their cut. When you pay for tokens they cost you, typically at CB or SC, about 10 cents each.

But when I receive them they are only worth 5 cents!

Who gets the difference? The camsite operator of course, they’re the ones who provide the service, the infrastructure like servers and so on, and in a since are the ones providing all that security that makes your interactions with me and the girls possible.
