Are Hairy Cam Girls Less Popular than Girls With Shaved Pussies? A Surprising Answer!

On any cam site you go to in 2020 the vast majority of girls have shaved off their pubic hair. A shaved pussy is no longer a fetish item but is now the common standard. While once there was a debate on the pros and cons of shaving now the only subject of discussion is how pubic hair should be removed, not if it should be.

In fact, cam girls with natural body hair are now a fetish and something that viewers specifically look for as has been discussed previously. These models are now known as “unshaved”, which by the very wording acknowledges that “shaved” is the default state.

Trimming is an intermediate level between natural pubic hair, where bushiness and length of the hair is a goal and matter of pride, and shaving where smoothness and lack of any trace of hair are points to aim for.

While a small percentage of models trim their pubic hair, either simply to make it shorter and less bushy, or into some specific shape such as a landing strip or a heart, these choices are less common than simply removing all hair.

There is some variation according to age with the younger models more likely to be shaved.

Being hairy or having natural public hair accounts for less than 10% of the models through their mid-thirties. After this, however, the number staying hairy or only trimming rapidly grows with just about half shaved in the 38-47 age group.

The number climbs even higher for the 48+ or MILF cam girls, though the lower number of these makes the percentage less reliable.

In the sample examined only 2.5% were in the highest 48+ age group.

There is also a distinct relationship between shaving and weight, with lighter girls much more likely to shave.

Over 80% of cam girls weighing 100lbs or less (45kg or less) were shaved. This compares with only a third of cam girls weighing 200 to 225lbs who are shaved. This weight group is also under-represented with less than 1% of the sample being in this weight group.

The two highest bins are not very meaningful as there are only two samples in each, but for the rest of the data, the trend is suggestive. Lighter girls are more likely to shave.

This result is slightly skewed by the fact that older models tend to be more likely to be in the medium weight range, though not the highest weights which are again the younger models. The effect is not strong overall with all models tending to not be in the higher weight range.

What is more surprising is that the models with hairy pussies or trimmed pubic hair have almost equal numbers of viewers in their rooms.

The difference in average viewer count is small.

This shows that, while pubic hair shaving is now the norm and typical among web cam models, particularly those who are younger, this is not strongly connected to their popularity.

Natural pubic hair is almost as popular as shaved pubic hair and is no impediment to having plenty of viewers in your room. But if you want to maximize the average number of viewers in your room then trimmed is the best look, but very closely followed by shaved.

If you have an objection to shaving it doesn’t mean you can’t have lots of viewers and hairy cam girls still can be very popular.

This analysis comes from looking at a snapshot of 549 models online at Bongacams.com at one moment. It doesn’t necessarily represent the situation for all cam girls, and different times or different cam sites.

It will be interesting to repeat the analysis at different times and with models from different sites to see if the relationships remain true.
