24 New tags / Activities / Categories at Stripchat.com

On some cam sites the tags are anything you type, each model can just type in something to represent themselves and their show. At other sites tags are a pre-defined list of categories and you have to select just from these. Stripchat is in the second category with a limited number of tags available, each one of which describes a particular activity, fetish, or interest.

They have just added new tags though, and give as an example Ahegao, Selfsuck and Flashing as new choices. Read on for the full list.

Tags are particularly important at Stripchat because they are the “promise” of what a model will do in public vs private shows. Each model has to set her show’s “activities” and specify “In All My Shows I Do”, and separately an “Only in Private / / Cam2Cam I Do” list of activities.

She can’t list the same thing in both.

In the “In All My Shows I Do” section, select an action that you perform in all types of shows. If you do specific activities exclusively in Private / Cam2Cam, select them in the “Only in Private / Cam2Cam Shows I Do” section. Note that you cannot include the same tag in both fields. If you´ve added a specific tag in “In All My Shows I Do”, you will not be able to include it in “Only in Private / Cam2Cam Shows I Do” and vice versa

When you view a cam room the choices are listed under the “Categories”, and you can filter by these during search, also rather low down. You can also view the all categories page, but that shows a mixture and combination of various attributes, some of which are technical such as “mobile” and “8 tks” combined with specific choices they have made for tags.

The activities / tags / categories, call them what you will, at Stripchat are separate from hashtags with a # sign that are used in room descriptions.

Anything that helps models to advertise what they can do, and helps viewers to find the models that are a good fit for them, is an enhancement.
