Yes, it does. The two-way camming facility at CamContacts has recently been upgraded from the old Adobe Flash to new HTML5 which works on all modern browsers. Over at Camcontacts, they call this Cam Connect, and it can be available in various chats including the “one2one” which is a fully private chat.

Some people are still having difficulty but for most people, it is working.

The most common issue has been a lengthy delay after clicking the “Cam Connect” button to start your cam. Once that is clicked the camera turns on and your own image appears in the bottom left of the screen. A loading animation of a circle of white dots shows briefly and then the video is live and the model can see you.

For some people the loading takes not seconds but minutes, however, if you are patient then it loads in the end. Of course while you are paying for the service on a per-minute basis it isn’t great that it takes a while to load, but sometimes the internet is like that.

The video preview window which transmits your video is actually a pop-up, so if your browser is set to block pop-ups from Camcontacts then this may prevent your cam from transmitting to the model.

Some members of Camcontacts have found that their video camera works, but they are unable to send audio and so the models can’t hear them. This has been fixed by updating to the latest version of Chrome.
