Where did the Camgirls on Patreon go?

TL;DR Answer; mostly to OnlyFans

Although Patreon is one of the leading places for creators to sell their work and for fans to sponsor their favorite creators it isn’t a very friendly place for camgirls.

The site is not very friendly to porn or to sex workers, but at the same time doesn’t completely exclude it.

There are exhibitionists who sell their photosets of public flashing on Patreon, and plenty of digital artists who make erotica or straight-up porn and who get paid via their Patreon accounts.

A few years ago it was much more common to find NSFW content on Patreon, it was considered a safe place for camgirls. But in 2017 the rules were adjusted and required all sex-related posts to be marked “18+” and they forbid pornography which was defined as “real people” doing sex.

That means the artists drawing, painting or imagining sex were ok.

But actual women would get banned.

Realistic digital animation of hardcore porn is fine, and creators such as monarchnsfw continue to post.

While a few old camgirls and semi-pro exhibitionists still have Patreon.com accounts.

Amouranth is one of the leading NSFW personalities and while not strictly a Camgirl she does do livestreams on Twitch and OnlyFans.

But she has moved most of her posts to OnlyFans, yet at the same time continues to post NSFW content but doesn’t cross-promote it on other platforms that much.

This seems to impractical for new camgirls who don’t manage to have their accounts survive on Patreon and are basically reluctant to invest their time in an account that is likely to be killed at any time.

It is much easier to find camgirls who post their pictures on the other more sex-worker-friendly sites such as:

• OnlyFan
• Fansly
• ManyVids
• JustForFans

And these days the majority of camgirl sites also have places for their broadcasters to post, publish and either give away or sell their photos and videos.
