OnlyFans Live lacks this one vital feature and I can’t work out why it isn’t there, or why someone hasn’t implemented a way to do it.

Although OnlyFans has been a big name for years now I’ve never thought of it as a “webcam site”, and that isn’t how it is promoted either. Although the site is owned by the same man who owns MyFreeCams there has always been a distinct separation and while MFC was for live girls, OnlyFans was for pics and vids posted by girls more in the “influencer” style.

After having some fun streaming live at LoyalFans.com, which is an OnlyFans alternative or clone, I remembered that OF does in fact have a live feature. So why not check it out?

While I did create an OF account a while ago and it is on my list of social sites were I post I do admit I rarely posted there after I first got it set up.

That meant I had to find my password and login details!

That meant when I visited the site, and went to my admin panel, the “go live” button was missing. Apparently you need to be active on the site, both with posting and having followers, to be allowed to go live. That wasn’t hard to achieve and after just one picture post I was able to go live the next day.

Going live is actually very simple. All I had to do was hit that button and it took me to a large video and chat window where I could adjust my settings, make the stream free or paid, set goals and titles and so forth, then use the LIVE button.

What was the problem?

Nobody comes into my room!

And I know why that is, because there is no way for anybody browsing OnlyFans to know that I’m online. Not unless they are already a subscriber or fan of my account.

OnlyFans doesn’t really have any browsing or exploring so people can’t just go there and find out who is online. If you don’t already follow an OnlyFans model then she might as well be invisible.

While that is the original concept of the site, that models bring their own fans and so are responsible for marketing themselves and letting people know when they will be online via other Channels like Twitter and Snapchat, it doesn’t work so well for live streams.

Even on those sites where I do have some followers, they are not all going to be available online at any one time when I happen to go live.

In practice it needs to be people who are already online because they are looking for a girl to talk to, those are the ones who may go into my room.

That is what makes live streaming work at major cam sites, and the hybrid fan and live sites like LoyalFans or Justfor.fans make that work.

There really should be a way to find girls who are online and streaming at OnlyFans. Being able to find Only fans models would be a great feature.

There should be a way to find people, particularly people who are online now.

I don’t mean stalking or “find onlyfans near me” which is just creepy, but finding out who is using OnlyFans to stream live so you can check out their stream.

Until then I’d rather hang out at LoyalFans and meet new people, rather than OF.

The idea of getting 80% of the tips and fees spent on my is certainly attractive compared to the 50% or less most cam sites offer. At the moment it doesn’t work out well though because 80% of a small number isn’t as large as 50% of a big one!
