Delisted 9 sep 208 because the site is down and the domain is for sale CozycontactsUpdate 6 June 2006: visited CozyContacts today to see how it was going but disappointed to find zero hosts online and a completely unchanged user interface. I'm afraid this is not going anyway. Original review: Small and trying hard it has the usual sections like: Girl Home Alone| Girl Girl (Lesbian) | Guy Girl (couples) | Guys Home Alone (Straight). This is not actually a new website -- it's been online in one form or another since 2001 -- however it was "temporarily closed" until just recently so this appears to be an attempt to restart it. That would help to explain why there are currently hardly any girls are on line. At least they do have nice archive pics of the girls who are there so maybe you want to just browse. From the screenshots it seems a lot are real private girls, not studio models. The overall look of the site is a little busy and has rather outdated graphic design, so it will take you some time to find your way around but all the key features are there if you look carefully. All the video is flash based and the rooms I visited were bright and clear but of course that depends on the hosts camera and lights. The video was not real streaming -- around average for flash based video. CozyContacts Chat Window This is "Spicy" who was one of three girls online when I looked -- she managed to keep up a nice smile, though you could see it drag a little at times with tiredness, while the various guests tried to chat with her. Pleasantly there was a distinct lack of begging -- it was mostly quite justified comments admiring her pretty features. There is cam2cam in private, and the only girl I checked was asking $2.994 per minute -- yes, that's not a typo, at least not my typo. You need a free login to get into free chat -- you can just use the button on the registration page for a Guest Login and then it's really just click to confirm your age, no username or email or anything like that. They have some special events like actual "shows" -- which are an hour and a half and are very cheap if you buy a ticket for the whole show. At only $90 that works out a dollar a minute -- however of course this will be a group event. If you want to get a real "free membership", with your own username instead of "guest" while in chat, then you need to give credit card details. It would seem they are processing their own credit card transactions, I don't see any mention of any third party processor. I do like the sense of humor the show -- see this last item from their privacy FAQ:
CozyContact is looking for additional hosts of course given that they are new. So they have a lot of good offers, for a start they are offering 50% of takings -- plus $30 bonuses for customers you bring in, $100 for chathosts you introduce, plus 1% of their income, free web server space to make your own site of which you will get 50% income -- I presume this is a fan site. So far so much like ifriends -- but still all good stuff. There is also something ifriends doesn't have (at least didn't last time I hosted there) such as weekly cash bonuses for top voted hosts. And finally they have a "highly classified" plan which they won't reveal until you register -- I'll let them keep their suspense and you can find out for yourself! I've had just a couple of complaints that this site did not pay hosts in 2003. Hard to say if that is relevant to today but as always use due caution; don't put in too many hours until you've seen the money! If you have any more information about CozyContacts, please drop me a note in the webcam forum, thanks.
