livepornstaroncam used to be another LiveCamnetwork site, but this one adds some name porn stars to the lineup.  Trying to cash in on the success of Flirt4Free who were the first to do major porn stars and are still ahead I think with stars I've actually heard of!

LiveCamNetwork is actually a demo site for the 2Much software and service that you can use to start your own "similar to ifriends" site.  So if what you are really looking for is webcam software then take a look.  If LiveCamNetwork seems the sort of site you would like to have then you can approach 2much.  It's using real windows media streaming so quality is high.

Using real windows media player streaming they provide great video quality, but now also iFriends and a new site called 1-AdultChat.TV provide real streaming so they have competition.

I found that Livebabes.tv and MirageCambridge are using the same software and even the same video feeds!  Except that Livebabes.tv's Group Nude Chat mode is cheaper than the other two?  LiveSexyDolls used to use the same system but is now using something else..

15 Jan: I took a look today and it seems LiveCamNetwork have fixed up their billing issues -- they are now with ccbill which is probably a good thing, being one of the largest processors.

I went into their free chat and I got prompted to download a new Microsoft sound codec, but that's ok at least it was a direct Microsoft download so no worries there.   I had to go in and out of the room before the video worked but then it was nice streaming video.

Streaming is really a lot smoother than the cams on most sites, so the video is really nice.  But of course you need broadband to get the best.  This site really likes video, they have little bits of "cut scene" as you go from one section to another almost like a video game.  Of course a bit more sexy than that!

On the one hand it is fun to watch, but on the other hand it gets a bit repetitive after a while; and it is using your bandwidth but well that doesn't cost.

Some of the girls on line are -- well a bit bored looking -- but that's a common problem isn't it when they are working late and nobody is chatting it can be boring.

Maybe it's just my screen but I found the text chat window not too clear, the little space to type in was so small I couldn't read my own words until I pressed enter and the text appeared in the main part of the chat. 

The design of the chat page is intended to really keep your attention on the one girl; there is no obvious link to take you back to the list of other girls who are on-line, I guess that is intended to stop you browsing too much!  I ended up using the "back" button in my browser.

Nude chat is 3.49 a minute whereas Livebabes.tv is 2.99 a minute for exactly the same list of girls so make up your own mind!

Ok I take that back, Livebabes.TV is now a front for cumtv so the comparison doesn't apply.

29 Jan: 2Much.net owns quite some chat web sites but it came to a standstill over the weekend of 16 - 19 Jan when ProBilling, the third-party billing company 2Much.net has been relied on announced it would cease all credit card billing services, with only e-checking remaining. 2Much is busy contacting potential alternative billing companies.  Meanwhile their programming team has to rewrite the billing section for interface to the potential billing companies are all different and no standard has been established yet.   At the moment, 2Much is using temporary billing providers.
