I've noticed that ClubXlive goes by at least two other names;
PassionCams and
PurityCams. Same models and
software, but different layout. They also own the very old name
tricams.com.
You can also find the same hosts being offered by other companies under names
including CamsUncovered and
LiveByCam. It seems there is a provider who
supplies these cams to a variety of different companies who each run their "own"
webcam site under different names and possibly with different rules.
What is in this review applies specifically to ClubXLive. Before you can enter chat you'll need a free login. They
stress "no credit card needed, 100% free" obviously to distinguish it from the
many other free accounts that do need a card. e.g. ifriends.
You'll only
need to give an email address for the activation email, but it has to be a real
address -- no free emails accounts accepted.
When I tried it took quite a while for the activation email to arrive which
was frustrating, so I just spent some time browsing around the site. There
is the usual display of thumbnails with a few details of each host. Mostly
studio girls but from a range of studios it seems. I recognized a few of
the backdrops, but not all. About thirty hosts were online when I
look late evening in mid week. They seemed all to be individual girls,
didn't see any couples and two guys were away despite they were marked online.
It costs an average of $1.99 credit to watch the live show but I can't find
out how much is 1 credit when their billing company Cambilling doesn't seem to
work this second. I need to try again another time.
Chathosts wanting to sign up to do shows need to do so via camconomy.com
which is the back end provider. There is a signup form but I can see
absolutely zero information about the terms and conditions; so I presume people
only sign up if they have been introduced via some other avenue. I did try
writing and asking but they said that they were not accepting any more hosts and
that they would not give out the terms and conditions. However, some posts
in the forum did mention a 30% payout, very long signup form, and that there is
plenty of traffic but too many beggars.
I heard they are now also the backend for Tricams and
HomeSexnetwork.
