Clickchat

Trying to be a clone of iFriends (see ifriends review) or imlive this site called clickchat has various non adult sections too.

Sections in Clickchat include:

They have even copied directly some of the wording from imlive like "Have an Expertise? Want to share it and make extra money?".

Free video chat

To see any free video or to even look at the gallery you need to register.  The registration screen asks the usual username/password plus email, and home address, no credit card is required at this stage.

Immediately after that you get to a page where you can either buy credit -- using ibill or stormpay -- or you can choose "click here for free chat" and not pay anything.

This then takes you back to the list of hosts and you can now click on the "free chat" icon beside any one.  However, this is not as it first seems free video chat.  it is only free text chat, with a profile picture of the host shown where you would normally expect video.

Once you click the button to activate video -- which does say private video -- then it's back to the registration screen.

So bottom line is you can see nothing at all until you have paid up.

(Re: Got a reply from Clickchat.  They said the girls can choose to turn on or off the free video chat and it happened that none of them had turned it on.  How about they display a 'text chat only' button if the chathost has chosen to turn the free video chat off)

From the host point of view there are good points to login either as an agent (studio boss) or a host, together with a specific option for upload IDs.

To signup as a host there is the usual long form to fill in and IDs to send.  The default pricing they suggest is 1.49/min.  Like ifriends they do support a geographic exclusion list to avoid your friends and family coming across you; but as you probably know this is not 100% reliable.

Technology used is "JumboStream" -- you can see their demo site at http://www.cococam.com, but it has no people online.
