hello hony,
i would like to know if adultwork.co.uk and keen work with romanians.i tryed to register with them but they seam to not accept romanian phone numbears.what do u know about it?[/b] |

For keen you just sign up and enter your info
They do not care where your from
www.keen.com been working there for about 6 months now
To get good results from them you need your own website with traffic and try squeezing in your keen number in a webcam show. |

Hello,
Keen does not forward their calls to Romania and other eastern European countries. When you sign up, during the process you will be told that by that the system, too. What you can do tho is to sign up with telcan.net or kall8.com and get a US toll free # from them,then register that toll free with keen. In the control panel of your US toll free you can:
1) forward the toll free to any country in the world, including Ro:));
2) enable and disable the call forwarding, thus you can also use the toll free to charge for flat rates (if you have an adequate billing processor, of course). It means that when you are not online nobody can bother and call you on your toll free, assuming some guys have it already or that you put it on your website. You can also use a PIN # associated with this number which works as an extension number (format 1-888-800-XXX ext XXXX) and you can change the PIN # after each completed call for your flat rate guys. But, if you use the toll free only for keen calls, you dont have to worry about anything since the number will not be revealed to any keen customers.
Important:
1) Keen charges the chat host for the phone connection, a nice way of milking some more $$ besides the service fee associated with your activity. Therefore you will be deducted 20 cents per minute for using a US toll free ( and you have to add your own toll free forwarded to Ro costs) then keen will deduct an additional 30% of your earnings for using their merchant account and base of customers.
2) You need to be able to speak a proper English, as Keen offers customers the possibility of leaving you feedback after each call (if they spend a min of 3 minutes on the phone with you). This system is often abused and despite keen having a ""playfair""department, it isnt clear to me if this dept has been instructed to be fair towards chat hosts also. You expose yourself to bad feedback for reasons like :"her cam freezes" etc since you will be using Yahoo/Eyeball messenger or for no reason at all. Bad feedback means low stars rating and based on the number of starts you accumulate your listing will be featured in a higher position on the website. Higher position = higher chance of getting calls
3) You have a strong competition who will keep on eye on your listings and notify the "rules compliance" dept for anything that does not comply with Keen TOS , or for anything they THINK does not comply and the result will be that you can easily have the listings frozen for further investigation.
Keen is more of a site for phonesex seekers and webcam work is maybe only 2 % of the whole thing. You cannot use their site to charge for webcam only, everything has to go thru the phone, as the billing is per minute.
In re adultwork.co.uk: you need a UK bank account in order to be paid for the services you offer thru their website. |
