Can't get cam to work with yahoo

Hi,
I am using a sony hanycam with capture card, and for some reason I can't get it to work one yahoo, msm, netmeeting, iFriends, or ispq. I have also tried using s video and composite and still nothing. It works with the the software that I download from cam sites, firecracker, etc.I am using cox cable I wonder if it is something to do with them or a firewall, but on yahoo even when i go to test the cam all I get is a black screen.Any help would be appreciated this is driving me crazy thanks.

Hi,
you should use the ORANGE WEBCAMDV driver http://www.orangeware.com/endusers/webcamdv.html
this will make your handycam to be used as a webcam ONLY if it has a firewire connection (and a firewire to the computer too, not firewire to usb, firewire to firewire ONLY)
