| Anyone know if the owners or webmasters of LiveJasmin post here? My wife is being stalked seriously from some nut case. 2 years ago he disappeared after cutting his arms up on cam in front of her and completely losing his mind. Now he is back killing her shows and threatens to find her and cut off her head. Livejasmin support can’t do anything to stop him. They state they don’t have the power to ban this guy, it's done from the management. He doesn’t spend money he sits in her room now and just scares everyone away. Anyone know how to get in contact with people who can ban this nut? Thanks Ray |

| LiveJasmin models can ban the ip address of the chatter, how does he come back into her room?. This post reminded me of when I saw a model do this live on camera, she tried to slit her wrists, thank god she didn't cut through a majory artery. Luckily she's fine now and strangely enough I noticed she now works on LiveJasmin. |

Banning an IP address only Bans a chatter temporarily. If the user is on dial-up all he has to do is log off and log back in again and he will be assigned a new IP address from his provider. It is a little more complicated to get a new IP address when on a cable connection or DSL, but not much....especially if one knows anything about how IP addresses are assigned.
So unfortunately the only option is to immediately ban the nasty individual each and every time they pop back in the room. A real pain, but possible. Usually the guy gets bored after awhile and goes away. Sometimes they show up a few months later, but when the banning begins again they quickly lose interest.
One feature, that my site has, is to allow the chat host to actually view the ip address of each and every chatter that is chatting in her room. Usually when a chatter hints on becoming abusive I view his IP and memorize the 1st 6 numbers. If I have to ban him and he pops in again with the same name, 9 times out of 10 the 1st 3 to 6 numbers are the same. If 6 numbers and the name are the same I ban immediately. If only 3 numbers are the same and the name is different I feel the waters 1st before getting an itchyt trigger finger.
This has worked very well for me and I haven't had a nasty stalker type in 2 years.
I realize in this particular example that the individual didn't buy any shows, but some of these nasty losers actually do. In that case the Site managers are able to give the name and address of the individual to the chat host who is then able to get the police involved and to press charges. The thing is most sites keep logs of ALL the chat rooms for several months so there is written confirmation that these people are nut jobs and perhaps need to be locked up. Some may see this as an invasion of privacy for the person with the credit card...but hell if you are making violent threats to anyone then your rights deserve to be violated!
If LiveJasmin is not banning this guy actively for her or if she can't ban him herself, perhaps she should find another site that takes more interest in their performer's welfare!

Maybe I should add anti-stalker tips to my ChatHost guide  . I get imposters pretending they are me and Im just a member on a few sites, so I can imagine how bad it is for models  . I know other members who get this problem too no matter what nickname they use. I've been banned on LiveJasmin by a nice girl I was talking to. She had a show and during her private she banned me from the room!. I asked her the next day why she banned me and she did apologise. I think she was new because she said that when she goes private she can still see the free chatters there? so she bans everyone in the room! hehe  |
