Livewebcams technical problems

Has anyone here ever had problems broadcasting on Livewebfriends that they were then able to resolve?

It's a Flash based site and so I didn't think that we would have any problems because we are broadcasting fine on ImLive and iFriends Flash based EasyCam (or whatever it is called). However, our video is just not showing up on the site.

On the screen, I see ghosted buttons for “Disable Video” and “Take Snapshot”, but these do not function and I am not seeing the video on the screen.

In terms of specification, the PC’s are less than a month old and so are highly specced. They have the latest version of Flash installed. I have checked all of the technical information on their site and confirm that the Java settings are correct.

We use Panasonic camcorders through SplitCam and have Hosts on a variety of sites. We've never had any technical problems in getting onto any other site before - just this one.

I have been emailing, phoning and IMing their Technical support for 10 days now without getting any sort of response from them and so I am getting rather frustrated to say the least.

Is there anyone here successfully broadcasting on Livewebfriends that had similar problems to start with but were finally able to resolve them?

Yes, I am beginning to wonder whether the site is worth persevering with.

Either way it's frustrating - to write off all the time and effort it took to fill in a bunch of profiles during the registration process, or to carry on trying to think of new and interesting methods of getting them to give me five minutes of their time.

Oh well, time will tell
