In the last 48 hours all the major search engines have done major updates.

Most significant is a new filter in the Google algorithm that targets the practice of boosting the performance of a site in the SERP by getting other sites to link in using the keyword as the anchor text.

This technique, previously very effective, seems to no longer work in most -- but not all -- cases.
