not bad, lots of flash, looks like someone was trying to sell a spice girls motherboard (mobo manufacturers are infamous for overuse of flash), lol

seems there is no "free" chat (1 pound/yr member fee) which would keep some of the beggars out and verifies all members are adults, VERY nice idea

however, the flash will choke a dialup user and forces people to install flash (id love to see a pure html/png site with ogg for audio) and the membership fee is in a very strange currency (british pounds, might wanna switch to euro or us dollar)

There really are not a whole lot of people who don't already have flash installed. Though I'm not a big flash fan (notice any on my sites?) it isn't really a speed problem *if done right*.

Still, I just think it's tacky. A bit like <blink>

I have been having a read, and taken on board some of your comments, I would like to say a few things before I comment any further.

The website's primary goal is to bring to it's members the prettiest cam hosts on the web, not just as solo but couples and groups too. We are working very hard on limited recourses to not only meet this goal but all others requirements that make a great cam site.
This is our first adult site and we have gone through plenty of up's and down's to get to where we are today, we still have lots to learn but have come along leeps and bounds since day 1 back in 2002. We still have a long way to go but believe strongly in 121modelchat and we know that we can soon make it into the classiest cam site on the web. There is alot more that I would like to share with you all but I wouldn't want to bore you to death...lol

I'll quickly comment on of your comments.
startting with flash, we have used flash here and there to bring to the site the sytle we required and it's the ideal solution for complex graphics and animation, the best part is that to view the flash conent the site will automaticaly get the flash player IE plug-in to install on the users system which is only a very small file. The flash does take a while to load the first time a 56k users views the site, but next time round the load time is much faster. with Broadband becoming available to more and more internet users the use of flash content will not pose a problem and thats one of the many reasons why we are looking at have the entire site flash later down the line.

The comment regardiing the membership fee is dead on; we needed a why to check that a user is the legal age, the easiest means of doing this using a credit card, no one can own a credit or debit card under the age of 18 and by actualy performing a transaction of an amount that also confirms the ownership of the card. The other reason for this is to filter out alot of the persons that will not pay for the service we provide, we do still get a few time waisters which we do deal with swiftly.

We use popular well established online billing, epayment, card processing what ever you wish to call them, sites to take payment and this also has the added advantage of coverage from chargebacks which is one of the major problems we had when we used netbanx merchant account. We did use PayPal as a option for our members to use to pay but PayPal did not like this and closed the account.....dam Paypal, so now we are left with ikobo and Nochex, Nochex will do UK only and ikobo will do USD, EUROs and British Pounds only, we are introducing other systems to cover other currancies and also introducing other means of payment, such as echecks, Charge to Phone bill and pay via text.
