So is the holiday season, not just Thanksgiving but all the way through Christmas and new year -- a time to spend on cam or a time to take a break and spend with the family and friends?
Myself I'm still here -- well Thanksgiving doesn't have much impact where I live -- but otherwise it's business as usual.

| Thanksgiving? Maybe late at night for me, but no way during the day. As far as the rest of the holiday season, I wil probably buy a little less as I have a few presents to purchase. |

I will be doing both this holiday season, but many times working part time days; my schedule will depend on working around time spent with my bf. |

Hello,
last year the holidays and christmas and also the 31.12 were very good days with much traffic (in Germany), so I will work on these days. The 31.12 was very, very good, because only a few chathosts worked on this day and I had a lot of guests (after 24.00)

Yes, good point!
I'm a bit mixed about that though. Sure you'll be making more money, but the time spent with loved ones is something precious and you can't get that time back.
As I've heard many times, people have said: On a death bed, no one has ever said they wished they'd worked more, but often have said they wished they'd spent more time with their family & friends.
I hear some hosts working 100+ hours. I don't see how they have time for anyone; most of them must be single/uncommitted I guess. |

I usually get a lot of holiday time from the "real" job so I am able to put in a wee bit more time online AND manage to get the family time as well. I have always worked around the holidays, but never on the holiday itself.
Again I think it is a matter of what works best for you! I know there are a LOT of lonely people out there and you can be sure they will be glued to the computer! |

I'm celebrating Thanksgiving Day with my boyfriend a day earlier--tomorrow--so most likely I will be working on Thursday; it'll be interesting to see what kind of traffic I get!  |

Slow for me....But I have a feeling in general it was slow for webcam girls.
Anybody else worked that day, and if so, was it busy for you? |
