| well jollycams is almost back and running. Learned a few things in the past months. Got a quick question for you all. Being I got burned last time around I have placed a registration fee on the site to weed out non cc holders. Good or bad idea? Also should have went with ccbill from the start they have everything i needed to begin with and there admin section is much easier and friendly to use then IBill. I can see all my transactions first page stats daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. IBill you had to put in the time you wanted to see and queary the darn system. Any some suggestions would be great. I think a registration fee to access is a good idea and should be used more. It is a security issue regarding age and fraud. I also think that it will help weed out the "voyuers only" people that can be very frustrating and exhausting for the models. I think all sites should do it!

And it doesn't necessarily hurt income -- if you look at the big income sites they are evenly split across registration and no-registration.
However I do think that registration hurts NEW sites; it slows down the startup.

| Thank you. I was kind of worried it would not be a good thing. But I looked at it from a serious customers point of view. When I went to cam sites and was serious about seeing a show I had no problem with giving my cc info. Now I can only hope that I can find some software that will make things a little better. I hate using the yahoo thing as I know its only a matter of time before the customers by pass the site and start to pay the model directly. My programmer can write something but man he is just way to slow to produce. But all in all that is the next step. After some advertising. I was thinking a adult cable station with maybe a quick 20 or 30 sec add. We are looking to go a differant route with the advertising and not look for it on the web. We want to go more of a traditional business. Even a billboard in vegas might be nice. But anyway I'm off to Denver for 10 days Ill be checking in. Thanks for the replies you have eased the nerves.
