I've heard of chathosts faking dildo/vibrator vaginal and anal sex and pretending to go deep but they are not. All by using tricks on camera.
How common is this??
I think that's terrible and frankly don't see how they could fake it. I would never fake, as proof by sometimes at the end, logging off, I have a sore pussy and ass! LOL!
Guests request close-ups and sometimes say, "go in and out slowly" I guess to prove that you are doing it for real, it seems. Anyway, I just don't see how they can fake that.
I guess the reason to WHY they do is because of less physical stress on the body, thereby enabling them to perform longer--like as in an hour or more without getting too sore/tired/stressed out, which could easily happen if you get A LOT of guests.
I must admit I do get stressed/sore when I get several requests in a row for deep, hardcore anal (it's rare that I get several requests like that in a row though). If you know me, I give 110% in my shows so after that "hardcore anal marathon" I am a bit sore.....I know, I know--LOTS OF ANAL LUBE!! 
BTW, I now have increased my fee mainly because of the above paragraph. For that kind of action, I feel I need to up my price. |

Yeah I am not sure how they do it either Lorrie...lol. I am not an anal performer so I don't have that problem...but I do have a couple of monster toys for the other orifice....lol and lots of lube only cuts it so far! Yes getting sore is an issue.
I too give 110% during my shows...lol I think it is because of my 15 years in the customer service industry that has ground it into me (I am also a CCR of a large insurance company here in Canada).
Nice to see that there seems to be several cam girls with the same "work ethic"!

I used to use large dildos for vaginal play too Kat, but I got too sore. I had several pics with me holding all the dildos in a tray and pics of me using the dildos. I deleted those pics, made new ones but with all smaller dildos and now have those photos in my gallery. I still have the large ones, but I don't want anyone asking me to use them.
I still have my anal dildos. Those are specially designed for anal use--nice and thin. I never use non-anal dildos for anal play anymore.
I still get sore at times, but using the smaller dildos have helped.
We are so much like adult film stars; as you probably know, they also have sore issues--even the guys!
Yes, most of my career has been in the retail business, so that's why I too, do my best to please guests. There are a lot of girls not really do the shows . i make a note of that on my bio page were I perform . we have ten pages of photos , that are taken from "nude chat " , The site has some troubles right now with a few of the girls rooms , mine and two of My other girls rooms are not changing the pic's , But In every one of my "nude chats" thats what the guest get , I am Nude the whole time with toys 4 fingers , what ever they are asking for , along with all my girls . First off, our main goal as hosts is to keep them with us for a long time. Now, depends on how you keep them in your room. You gotta be fresh, you gotta smile, you gotta be relaxed. A real show especially with toys is, in my oppinion, a pain in the ass. I can't even imagine how i would feel after 10 viewers, and my average/day is somewhere around 20 guys plus the minute men which don't count anyway. So i don't find it terrible that some girls fake shows with toys. I don't know how they do it because i never used toys, and i never will.
Of course, we all have our own strategy, mine is talking and lots of teasing for at least 10 minutes. They can take it or leave it, but 90% of the guys like it, so they take it
After that, 2 fingers are more than enough to please them, and keep me smiling. And it really works. By the end of the day i'm not tired, not stressed, and i can play with my bf's real toy |

Slightly off-topic but I'm curious how male/female couples can "perform" multiple shows - for example, say they get 5 or 6 private chats in a 2 hour period... how does the guy keep up (and in some cases, the girl too..)
I'm not trying to be funny, but I haven't yet seen a live couple ... but I could see (based on the above point) why they would try to "fake" it too? |

Or to keep coming back -- which may mean different ways to treat people. But then there are very much different classes of viewers -- the talkers, the action, the romantic, the rough...
I think most hosts handle some types better than others -- hence tend to get those customers more, and end up thinking that most customers, or at least most good customers, are that particular type!

You mean guys can't cum every 20 minutes? Ooh... 
I never fake insertion, it's so easy, why bother to fake it? Helps to feel nice too, if I am in the mood the I give a better show -- it's called "method acting" I believe. 
Have to fake cumming sometimes though -- though when I first started camming it was such a turnon that I used to cum a lot during shows, but that wore of pretty quick! I guess that's why I don't do shows any more.

Wow! Doesn't sound like you do much to make money. And the guests love your show? More power to you! 
It's none of my business and I certainly won't ask, but I am curious as to how much money you make. "Good money" is subjective. But if I made at least $2,000.00 a month doing only what you do as you mentioned above, I'd have the perfect job in every way!
I only do sex therapy online now (just talking about sex; I'm the Dr. Ruth of the Internet! lol!). I absolutely love what I do; it doesn't pay much so far, but I'm making more and more every week.  And other than the need to make more money, my job IS perfect for me. |

Hubby and I do live shows and the key to keeping it going is for him not to cum. The only time he will cum is if a client asks to see a facial....lol then after that he can get it up again, but then asking for another facial just isn't going to happen (at least not right after the 1st!)
Again we don't fake anything. If I start getting sore (or even if I have had a lot of shows) I start to use the lube. Nothing is a subsitute for great lube!

If your doing 10 to 30 shows a day
Your get tired and when that last guys pulls in 150 bucks and wants it live and fresh like the first they forget your a real person soo you have to do whatever is possible to make it look real like the first
WE are people not machines.
They forget that most of the girls are online a whole 8 hours and they are not going to be as fresh as they were in the first 5 minutes of being online. |

Yea sure a guy can not cum every 20 minutes during 6-7 hours hony...lol u really think its possible? In a wild wild night maybe but not on cam when a viewer says ..I want him to cum now.Yes we fake cumshots as everyone esle do..well we know many couples who work online. Some hardcore models barely make half that much!....I'm not sure there is a "formula" for making a lot of money as a webcam performer. I've discussed this before at this site....Even some of the highest paid models don't go by the standard guidelines for becoming really successful. (Roleplaying seems to be very popular, but something that would bore me--as a model or as a guest! lol!)
You're certainly one of those top earners (IMO); you know what to do to be successful and please your guests. |

I don't
and I do just fine.
Work your room they will eventuall fall in line of what you do and don't do.
