Streamray no longer requires $50 signup fee for models

I just heard Streamray no longer requires $50 signup fee for models, they are trying very hard to expand business.

thanks for this information. but there is another thing...half a year ago it was forbidden to work on streamray, if you also work on other camsites.

I think, it wasn`t only forbidden to work on other camsites at the same time. It was generally forbidden to work on other camsites, so if you are a "streamray-chathost" you can only work on this site.

did they changed this rule also??

for me it is impossible to work generally only on one site. and I can`t believe that other chathosts make so much money on streamray that they never have to work on other sites...

so I don`t know how other chathost manage this, for me this rule is the reason not to work on streamray.

in the chathost-contract from streamray I found the following:

"While you are a citizen, you shall not engage in any activity that competes with Streamray, including but
not limited to providing for another network the same or substantially similar internet services that you
provide through the Streamray Network."


I think, if I sign this contract, I ensure streamray that I do camshows only on their site.
I think working on more camsites is "providing for another network the same or substantially similar internet services"

Or did I understand something wrong?

I agree that is what it means as written, the point is Lars says it is not what he intended therefore will have the lawyers re-write this part at some point in the future.

I just re signed up with streamray

They took out the fee b/c they realized a lot of models from far away countries working solo can not pay it.

So they are finally realizing other people's needs.
