I don't have the expert knowledge in running my own site and I have no real desire to learn. Also, I read a lot of industry news daily and often I read people going to jail because of technically illegal things when running adult websites. I'm too paranoid that I might do something (ignorantly) illegal and be in deep shit with the law--no thanks!  It's important to REALLY KNOW the laws nationally and locally (including the obscure laws!) before you start an X-rated website.
It's something like those who don't pay taxes (although they know the are doing something illegal); many get away with it, but you never know when the law will come knocking at your door. Being ignorant of the law is not a good enough reason to not get arrested.
