Dear Hony,
ImLive is pleased to introduce an amazing new way for you to create a stronger bond with your Guests
(and to earn more money)... your very own fan club!
Your fan club is where your loyal Guests come to learn more about you, see photos of you, view videos of you, talk to other Guests about you and get to know you better. It's the place where you come to market yourself to your loyal fans and where your community of VideoChat fans comes to worship you!
You'll create a strong bond between yourself and your fans through exclusive content that you create, intimate details that you provide, atmosphere that you engineer and daily communication both you and your fans can initiate.
1. Loyalty - Your fan club members are Guests who know you and enjoy your company. They come to your fan club just to get to know you better, and that shows their loyalty. These fans will VideoChat with you even more as fans than they did as your regular Guests due to the generous discounts they'll receive automatically, coupled with the increased intimacy your fan club will provide them.
2. Exposure - ImLive promotes Host fan clubs through the Narrow your search function offered to Guests. This provides you with increased exposure and more opportunities to direct traffic to your VideoChat room.
3. Promotion through the "Viral Effect" - Through your loyal fans, you'll be able to promote yourself outside of ImLive and all over the net. Your fans will do a lot for you, including referring their friends to you. If your fans tell two friends, and they tell two friends, word will spread about your fantastic Hosting abilities like a virus (hence the term viral effect).
4. Community - With a strong community of fans, you'll increase your earnings, Host rating, Host online list positioning, database of Guests and potential for winning prizes because your fans will want to make sure that you'll become the #1 Host at ImLive.
5. Financial Benefits -
You'll earn 40% of the membership fee ($16 per month or $30 for two months) for every ImLive member who joins your fan club.
If one of your fans refers a new user to your fan club (someone who is not already an ImLive member), you will earn 50% of his $16 monthly fan club membership fee, plus 50% commission any time your new fan enters your VideoChat. In other words, the referred fan will be treated in your commission as if you brought him to ImLive.
ImLive will give cash bonuses of $500, $300 and $200 to the Hosts who recruit the most new fans per pay period
To create your fan club, click here. You'll be asked to create a welcome message and then your fan club will be operational. Add some brand new videos and photos that will be seen ONLY by paying fan club members, write in your diary, post some news about your fan club, enhance your bio and getready to meet your fans. For more information about your fan club, click here to read the Fan Club FAQ.
Please do not mention anything related to your fan club to Guests until our official launch party.
Sincerely,
Sarit
Your ImLive Host Representative

| LOL. It's funny to see how things have changed. I won the top fan club award for ImLive in Sept. of this year. But the rules have really changed. Its still $16/month or $30 for two months, but the hosts get %50 commission on those. Maintaining the fan club is soooo much extra work. But I made up my mind that I was going to win that award. However if you're not in it to win the cash bonus, then its a real waste of time. The customers that join the fan club get free credits to spend in ur room, so its like they're not really paying for a membership at all. They get their $$ back in the form of credits, so the chathost ends up doing a ton of free shows cuz he/she doesn't receive commission on the free credits. Bottom line. If you don't plan on going for the gold, then just bypass it altogether. |

I think you miss the real main point regarding Fan Clubs at ImLive.
Look at the post again. It mostly talks about *creating a bond with guests* and letting them know more about you with all the features it has it in. It's much more than trying to get the biggest bucks.
If one is only interested in making money from guests and not interested in having more of a rapport with guests than I would say don't have a Fan Club. But marketing and selling yourself as an entrepreneur is more than having a "what's in it for me only" attitude.
Some of the most successful businesses in the world are very generous in giving away free things to their customers which is one of the reasons why they are so successful.
I personally have fun with my fan club. I make money (some guests may only want to have that discount only Fan Club offers, or they will go to another site for videochat), build a better rapport with my guests, and it's so much fun updating it and adding cool stuff in it.
I guess I just have a much different attitude about the Fan Club and business overall. |

| I'm sorry if you're attitude towards this business is different than mine. I agree that offering freebies is an excellent way of enticing new customers to your chat room. But I'm just being honest when I say that my ultimate goal in this business is to make money. Even though I put on a great attitude for the sake of my customers, I'm willing to admit that my interest in doing this is to earn a living that is not minimum wage. And I'm assuming that many other camgirls are here to make money also. I'm not saying that you have to act nasty or disinterested to your customers, because that is the #1 way to NOT make money. But I'm not going to sit here and lie and say that I'm here to meet tons of new and exciting men. For that matter, 90% of them are not interested in me as a person anyway. They come for one thing. I'll admit the other 10% who are die-hard regulars are good guys that I enjoy talking to. But like I said, my primary interest is to make the money. And I think alot of other girls will agree. I'm not here to show the goods for free. |

I have to agree with you blacksexxx. I tried the fan club thing. I dedicated a good deal of time with the exclusive photos and videos with emails. Unfortunately, my time with my fan club did not pay off to my content. So, I just focused my time on the live shows. I noticed that some hosts had booming fan clubs, but that did not work out for me. Maybe I'll try it again one day soon. My fan club at iFriends was OK, but at ImLive my fan club simple never pulled in enough people. I also treat each guest respectfully, sexually and with a bit of "pizzazz"! However, my goal is to generate revenue. I approach my chat host sites as an e-commerce business. Establishing relationships, bonding and connecting are not part of my business plan. The customers are there to masturbate to my shows and to have a "happy ending". As long as I can help them cum in the shortest period of time they are happy. If I go slow with getting naked, I'll get poor ratings. I also play it by ear. I never show up naked on cam. Some guys want it slow, some leave it up to me and others want it fast. There is no love interest; just "cum" interest. But its all good. I know it seems as if I am rambling, but I need to give my perspective on my experiences with my fan clubs and my relationship with the guests who enter into my pay videochats. HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYBODY!! |

You misunderstood me.
Having a good rapport is NOT necessarily tantamount to being real friends with them.
Plus, this IS my real job and I do make a living at it. I can fully support myself financially now working at ImLive only as is my intention to make a living when I started. I am a professional and I treat my guests in a professional way only, which for me, includes having a good rapport with them.

If you do try the Fan Club again, I hope it works for you, with fabulous results. No, you weren't rambling. Great post.
Happy New Year to you too, MsMammary! |

-To MsMammary:
There's a simple trick to getting the guys to join your club. But just make sure you don't mind doing tons of free shows when they use their credits. I recommend you shoot for atleast 25-30 to get the cash bonus. But anyway, what you do is EVERY TIME someone hints that they want a private show, tell them just to join ur club "so they won't have to pay as much." Use those words exactly. And the best part of it is, it's the truth. The guys really do pay less and get way more when they buy a membership. Just have a quick copy-and-paste sentence that explains what they're getting and for how much. And if they go directly to ur private room, then don't forget to mention it to them in the event that they want to come and visit you again. I guarantee when you tell them that you're saving them money, 90% will join. And ALWAYS mention the free minutes they get. I.E. if your price is 1.98 then the customer gets approx. 8-9 free min show. Guaranteed to work. My favorite line that always worked was:
Blacksexxx: "If you're planning on coming into private with me, you might as well join the club. It's only $16 and you get twice as many minutes. Plus unlimited xrated pics and videos. It's much cheaper than paying regular per min. charges."
And that's where the guy says ok I'll sign up now...LOL...I hope it works for you if you want to give it another try. And I'll root for u to get the prize. ) |

| I'm sorry Lorrie. I don't believe I misunderstood anything in your original post. I was not speaking about the importance of creating a rapport between the customer and myself. I was addressing the comment you directed towards me about "me not realizing the full purpose of the ImLive fan club." and my "whats in it for me" attitude. I'm a semi-intelligent person and I understand fully what you were saying. I just don't happen to agree. The BOTTOM LINE of any business is WHAT'S IN IT FOR THE BUSINESS. Handing out freebies is only a marketing strategy aimed at enticing more customers to buy/use a product or service. That, in turn, increases that business's MONEY. Please don't continue to tell me that I'm not seeing the logic in an issue simply because your outlook in the business differs from mine. If you're here to build lasting connections with your clients, then more power to you. You can interpret the point of this fanclub any way you want. But dont discount mine or say that I dont understand simply because I don't share your views. |
