Sounds an interesting idea. I agree more chathosts should look at working for themselves. If you have a good following and are willing to manage finances and promotion then cut out the middle man for sure.

I'm worried though at your reference to getting payments via paypal. Not a safe thing to do and I think you should warn people about that. I know everybody does it privately, but it's a bit different if you are doing it via a public web site where it is more visible.

Yes I know about PayPal - but it is offered as an option and can be disabled. Other payment processors can be added so that it is easier for the host to receive money. This chat program would only be for webhosts who have a following and can promote themselves. I want to be clearer about the fees - $45 a quarter is for the Flash Server and we do not collect any more money than the initial fee for the program and setup ($150.00)
