If you are not getting many privates please check what kind of music you are playing in your room. I always play classic rock or 80' music like retro alternative. Guys love it and you will find yourself getting guys chatting more about music and not leaving you because you are playing rap/hiphop that really gets on the nerves of some guys. I know because they tell me. They tell me I have a wide range of music knowlegde. I can go with rock or country etc. But NEVER rap! They leave and never come back well they men with money. They have told me!!! so ladies please open your minds to other music so you can get paid. Just a thought for you. Oh and log on!!!!!

Very interesting post.
It is very true that the music you play can attract potential customers or send them away for good. If you are not sure what to do, I always suggest no music at all.

Good tip! Match yourself to the type of customer you want; age, interests, style of life etc. So sports and 80's music (means they are probably 40+ now) are good!

That might only be true for some, I play whatever music I enjoy in my room and I keep it low. most of the time I only turn on my microphone for private shows. so they never hear my music in private chat.

Plus not every room is the same so you can't really say because of the music in the background is a factor. What happens in my chat room is definitely not the same in yours.

My visitors prefer rock and classical music, sometimes pop or jazz. What I experienced so far is that the social class that owns the money for webcam sex doesn't like rap/hiphop at all. But it's different for every host, who attracts what kind of men. There is only rarely audio in my room, only for my very good regulars. I love really hard rock and metal, but it doesn't suit my good little girl image in nonadult, so I can't really let them hear my music. It's so fun when we have a nice romantic chat, I'm smiling innocent, listening to hard rock,, but they never hear anything from it ))

Good infoT...I'm not well into rap/hiphop. I have a varied musical taste that ranges from Debussy to Smashing Pumpkins. Tonight I had Don Williams playing in myfreecams and no one seemed to mind. I even made some money!

I try to make the music something that most every age will like and maybe consider a bit romantic.....Something that is not so radical or that it will irritate them to the point that they leave. Speakers always far in the background with your mic in the foreground, for sure. After all, they want to hear YOU and your sexiness
