Has anybody tried recording your cam show and if it's possible, how do I do it? I'd like to make videos from some of my private & group shows. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
You could try using windows movie maker.
It allows you to select quality of your recording, length etc.

Problem is my cam site takes over the feed so I can't record it elsewhere while i'm online? |

Good idea there, I wonder how well it will work.
At the same time, if the recordings are for sale it might be better to do something specifically for that purpose rather than just recording a live show. I mean the live show is interactive but a recorded show isn't so I wonder if the viewer would find the recording of a live show a bit slow due to the stopping to interact. Depends if it is audio and that is recorded perhaps, if it is text chat that might be not so good. |

| You can use Camtasia, it's a screen recording program, they offer 30 days trial. |

I have snagit I got a crack for it that is what I use to record shows.
There is many screen recording softwares out there. |
