If anyone in the know sees this, please clarify things for me, as I'm highly interested in myfreecams now. |
Let us clarify - what we mean is that once you are approved as a model you will be able to download special software to appear on MyFreeCams. You would just run the software and click "Start Webcam" and you would be online.
We do not take over your normal webcam software or put you online when you are not ready!

In reply to some of the questions in this thread-
1) There is certainly no requirement to be fully nude all the time, or even some of the time. Many of our models are non-nude models and still make a ton of money. The point is that our site offers flexibility so if a model wants to be tastefully nude, that is allowed.
2) Models make more at myfreecams than they do on any other site, both on an absolute basis, and on a percentage basis. It is no even close. This is why you find all of the most successful webcam models on MFC right now and not on any other network. We paid 50+ models each more than $10,000 last month.

I've tried out MFC and it is very very different for sure. I don't think there's another site like it out there.
Payouts are reliable and on time every single payday for me. They do allow you to ban whoever is bugging you for any reason and they have a very helpful staff.
I do wish they would stop more of the explicit stuff like use of toys in free. I think they need more staffing.
I do know that they do suspend models for breaking rules as I've seen models talking about it. I have viewed other models as a guest since I haven't made much on there as of yet, to try to get a feel for how the top models handle their rooms and a few had been suspended for rule breaking, but I agree with the above posters that it needs to be policed better. Makes it tough for those of us who do try to follow rules.
They have some features that I love, such as the IM feature (guys seem to be more likely to tip me and do private when I have this enabled) and I love the fact that they do allow me to be live on other sites, click AwayPrivate (I think it's called) to do a show there but still be able to make $$ on MFC with the spy feature. Private shows are big $$ on there when you get one which is nice, but I haven't gotten too many as of yet. I really think a good potential is there if you build regulars.
I haven't been able to realy be on enough yet to build a client base (have been out with sickness and family problems) but am still giving it a try. I don't think the site is for everyone but if you are skeptical, take a look at the top models rooms (I never chat or anything to bother them, just watched and was quiet) and watch the tips come in (especially late at night).
I've seen models get huge tips (like 1000 tokens at a time, which is 50 bucks for her) so I can see how some are raking it in on there. It's a totally different style of site though, definitely. |

Im sure some models do well at the site.
But for sure not all of them who register.
Personally we have register 41 Models on there. And most have joust given up.
Also the experience that we had was that the models do well the first 15 Days, after that it was Death for them.
Last Period we only earned 500 USD, only 2 Models are still getting online. |

Good points, Annabellz! I didn't know this at the time of choosing Daily Pay, but if you choose the Daily Pay option (instead of Weekly or Biweekly Pay), your pay rate will decrease to like 3 cents per token or something like that (instead of the usual 5 cents/token). You will definitely get a lot of guys in your room though.  One of my reasons for not working there anymore is the fact that having one person tip you means you basically get naked in free chat for ALL to see (even though that ONE guy paid). I've tried the "I will _____ for x amount of tokens" method, but usually I just got the same one or two people tipping me while everyone else enjoyed the "freebie."

Hello everyone,
Maybe it was mentioned before, but try out Livejasmin.com . It is similar to other mentioned webcam sites, but it is the most visited according to them, and as far as i have seen, they are really doing a good job in marketing, so i would give it a try.

That's what makes myfreecams so great... you can have a good time in the public chat and make a lot of money without committing to a private/group show. The statement about how it's a free for all when the admins aren't online is silly. MFC models are allowed to be naked in free chat, and do fun shower or oil shows for tips. Sure some girls break the actual rules and do penetration and cum shows, and sure it does seem the admins should crack down more on this, but just having the freedom to be naked and dance and show off for tips is wonderful.
When you say "to make 5 cents a token you must be nude" makes no sense. No, you get the same amount per token regardless of whether you're in public, private, or group chat. Your statement could be clarified to say "it's easier to make tokens in public chat if you get nude." THIS is true. But even if you don't like to be nude or show in public chat, you still get a great "percentage" in private or group show. 50% or more is a great payout compared to the hoops you may have to jump through on other sites just to receive 35%.
I have been an MFC model for over a year now, and I make awesome money there. Other sites are merely a backup plan for me if myfreecams site is down. Considering the way the tokens flow in on MFC, it doesn't make sense for me to spend my time on any other sites. |

That's great that you make excellent money there, but MFC isn't for everybody, and everybody doesn't use the "I will ___, HOPING to get tipped for it" method. Some feel that the idea of doing this and that, HOPING to get tips is a little silly. Doing shower and baby oil shows is a great idea when you've been paid PRIOR to hopping in the tub. Like on ImLive, doing a shower show would be great for a 30-minute block session. No one wants to carry their laptop into the bathroom and waste water just because they MIGHT get some tips for it, if they're lucky enough to have generous guys in the chatroom. In my opinion, MFC models deserve to be tipped even when they're not nude, if they're doing a good job interacting with the guys, and being sexy, playful, and flirty. And another thing...only on "tipping" sites (Webcams.com, MFC, etc.) will guys get away with sitting in free chat for that long...lol. If it was any other site, such as ImLive (free text chat), I would've enforced my "5-min free chat limit" rule.
I do love to hear about girls doing well with MFC. It inspires me to wanna give that site another chance...lol.  |

If you don't mind me asking, when you're naked in free chat, do you get naked first, and then they tip you right after? Or do you chat with clothes on and then they tip you, and THEN you get naked? I'm just curious what it is that successful MFC models do in order to make good $$$ and deal with free video chat without going insane...lol. |

I make a countdown (say 500-1000 tokens) that they must fulfill before I get naked. While the countdown is going I try to be entertaining as I can be. Dance a little, tease a bit, but mostly chat and encourage the countdown to continue. My tactic is to keep a low countdown then remind them once I get naked that if they enjoy the view that tipping is the polite thing to do. The more people you have in your room, the better this works.
I also don't go to group show until they've fulfilled the naked countdown. (Group show is where I play with toys and cum. I don't do private and don't do cum shows in public, so if they want to see something other than just naked dancing, they must go group with me.)
As stated in another thread here, this tipping system doesn't work for every girl, but it's worked for me very well. To each their own! |
