How to find independent girls?

Hey everybody, I have a question about indy girls., if such a thing exists. I've been spending at least 30 minutes per month in private chats, and would love to spend more. In reading this site, I found it very surprising how little the girls actually get-- any other remote access career, the outsourcing service site usually takes 10% (e.g. oDesk).

My imagination tells me that, particularly with the current state of economics, there must be tens of thousands of fun girls out there who have reasonable equipment, and speak perfect or native English, and be willing to give me a fair amount of time for my 30-50 bucks.

Unfortunately that isn't what I've found. It's [b][i]really[/i][/b] hard to be a customer out there, and I've got to be the perfect target market; I'm married and faithful, very well to do, and have a flexible schedule. I've probably spent over $1500 in the last year that mostly amounts to research. Sure, I've spent a few hundred dollars in very satisfying encounters, but isn't there a better or smarter way?

The thing is girls who do cam arent going to come out and tell them they are indepdendent, some girls set up their homes to look like studios because it what sells best for them in shows.

Does it really matter if the camgirl your viewing is working from home or from a studio the fact is your in the chat room watching her to be entertained and hopefully have a good time.

Some girls who do not take this job serious will have the worst cams and have their room set up in away that exposes thier personal life which is not good for sales then compplain or quit the site and wonder why they arent making good money from being in the webcam business.

OTherwise will take the time to study good cam girls on the sites and copy the success.

well minnie, im not sure if danny ment that he wants to find girls who rooms dont look like a studio.. i think he ment is there any place where to find girls who will do private shows in yahoo or msn messenger, or skype.. and accept payment directly to them without need to feed these greedy camsites.
I have some trusted camgirls, who do shows for me this way sometimes.. but i do this only with girls who i know better, because there is one big problem.. payment!!
i have not yet find a simple, worldwide, payment processor what to use to send money anonymous.. ePassporte would be perfect else, but it has limitation working in countries where the best camgirls comes from.. i mean Ukraine, Russian, Romania...

But yes.. if danny ment this, i agree with him, if find nice girl to have pleasure with, why not pay directly to her and let her earn better from her show.. this way girl earn all 100% from the money i use, not only 35% like she does if use camsite.

Thanks everyone for your point of view, sorry if I was a little schizophrenic in how I asked the question.

Spacedust you nailed my concerns exactly; it seemed to me that I could be a better client and get a better value if I found an entrepreneurial girl who had the attributes I was looking for.

Here's what I did over the last few days. I found the list of indy sites from adult-webcam-faq.com, and messaged girls that seemed "my type" one by one until I got a response. It looks like many of these independent sites have been merged into Camsturbate.com, or are gone. The response rate was not good (1 in 10 maybe). It was a lot of work, though it may be worth it if I find someone like this and decide to be a regular.

There does seem to be a bustling business of independent girls on all the social networking sites, but I have no idea how the uninitiated could figure out how to separate the signal from the noise.

The experiment makes me appreciate the big sites and studios, at least for a little while.

You also have to beware of "e-whoring" which is where people simulate a girl on a social network just to get you to sign up to a major cam site (so they get the referral fee). It's a pretty big thing now and makes finding real independent girls via social sites quite difficult.

Ah thanks, now I've got a term to attach to that phenomenon, which was definitely my biggest problem. I would have fallen for it while looking for cam girls on Craigslist and Backpage, but was thankfully a big enough perv to already belong to the sites recommended by the "girls" (usually ImLive). They all disconnected or ignored me after I said I was familiar with the site, except for one, a real and gorgeous imLive girl as far as I could tell. She directed me to her private, provided me with $20 worth of unsuccessful sound checks, then disconnected right before starting any semblance of a show.

I personally work for a popular webcam site, but also have a small webpage for independent work too. I'm an Australian girl in USA, and I work strictly from home. I don't bother trying to set up my room as a studio. It makes my 'work' seem too much like 'work', and I like to feel comfortable and familiar in my environment.

As an independent girl, I charge $85 p/h with free phone within USA, and also a phone only option which is $49 p/h. While I work for the popular web cam site, users are charged $360 p/h for my time, of which I only make $85 from. Considering a lot of my regulars come to me for conversation and companionship only, that price seems absurd!

Also, as a webcam girl, it's a far superior option to work independently and only when you're booked, as opposed to being on web cam entertaining people for hours and never knowing if you'll finish the evening with more than a few dollars to show for.

I don't think you have to find a site for independent girls. Just go to normal webcam sites and if you like a girl , offer her your messenger ID (create one separately for this purpose) for "alternative" options and if she adds you, you can discuss the matter there. Girls are prohibited to give their contacts infos (except CamContacts) or ask for your contact info, or else they will be fined. But if you offer them your ID , you won't get into trouble. Smart girls look for this kind of business. I think being paid by epassporte or paypal is OK, Their transaction fees are way less than any other kind of payment, and western union sux from the member's view. Models in the studios, maybe get 10% of the money they make on the sites, girls working from home make 30-50%, so they should be happy for this idea.

I never heard the notion e-whoring , that Hony mentioned, but I met this in the past even without knowing it was that. In the studio where i worked as a chatoperator, one of the members told us that he saw our model on a US site (some Craigslist) where she offered herself as a prostitute and webcam girl, although our model is eastern european. We found this ad and we were shocked.Her pictures were stolen from a website and we even found a messenger ID, so we started to chat with "her" That person tried to make us sign up to Webcams.com When we revealed him/her that the girl who is on the pictures was sitting next to me, and she doesn't even speak English, he/she threatened us to fry our computer LOL!!

So don't look for any special site, just pick a girl from normal sites and try to get in contact with her on messenger. Good luck.

why do you think that members prefer studio-like rooms? Our experience is totally different. We even tried to make the studio rooms look cozy, just like real bedrooms. Guys hated the studio -looking studios, they didn't find them professional, but too sterile. When they thought the girls were in their bedroom ( we put personal items such books, clothes and flower) they liked to stay in more. But it's maybe just our experience.
