Would you as a model go to a NEW cam site that pays 80%

I am about to launch a new adult webcam site in June '09. I will be offering 80% of all sales to the models minus credit card transaction fees.

This is not going to be a "set up, then decrease the percentage plan".

And this is not going to be money-hungry-pig-site. Like most of them.

I'm located in Byron Bay, Australia.

I'll treat models like how everybody needs to be treated - with respect and honesty.

i could say we heard and seen those practices of the owners over and over........they all start with great offers, then they get power hungry and greedy and the % starts decreasing...too many middlemen get on the gravy train, and models are the ones paying the overheads..

get the traffic pay your models and webmasters on time, you will not have a shortage of models word of mouth travels fast...announce your opening when you know the details, and good luck!

Welcome to the forum.

While I welcome anybody trying something new I would wonder if your math is solid on this one. Cam sites need massive promotion to work, and promotion costs money whether it is buying ads or paying affiliates.

If you pay the hosts 80% where do you get the money to promote your site?

Hosts will not want to stay on your site if there are no visitors, regardless of what percentage you pay.

I can understand completely that you are very sceptical about new sites and their claims. Really who would trust anyone in this industry. I have read a few anecdotes from models on this site and the feedback for other sites aren't that impressive. I feel most of these men running the sites don't know themselves let alone women.

My plan Hony for this site is to grow organically. I have researched other sites and they have done it that way. Sure it takes years to get to that stage, but I'm not in a hurry. As Spider said, Pay on time and treat everyone as equals - not very hard really. I will do some marketing and clever SEO ofcourse, but I won't be spending massive amounts of dollars. All customers have their own taste and taste is unaccountable. If they like your site they will stay. My difference between other sites is the layout/format. I will be following suit with the site stated above in my research. We'll see what happens.

Private shows will be 60 Tokens/minute
Spy on PVT shows will be 20 Tokens/minute
The site will be billed per second.
