Indepent cam girls is the way of the future I am sure of it. Guys hate wasting their money on bosses and cam girls are sick of getting ripped off and losing upto 70% off our income. We are fighting back and showing the world we are not just a pretty face and can think and generate our own income!

I agree, I'm seeing it as a growing trend now though I'm not sure it will ever be 100% of the market.

There are a lot of sites out there now to help single girls to get started and advertise themselves. And people are looking at ways of earning money off of that itself -- the listing/directory sites.

i advertised in many chat rooms and i keep my opinion that u wont get guys to pay for seeing you on cam when they can already get it for free in some of the rooms. yahoo guys r cheap. i use yahoo just for keeping in touch with my regulars. no more yahoo chat rooms for me.
id like to be independent once day, but unfortunatelly big sites can advertise for you, thats where u get the traffic from. dunno how i could get traffic by myself wqhen i cant pay for webmasters or something. ana

I don't know about the not paying when they can see you for free -- I think some of the biggest earning sites are the ones where they give a lot for free. It's all advertising and the real difference that guys pay for is PERSONAL...

So give it away free -- but only in a group setting.

I made the same bad experiences with yahoo-chatrooms so I agree with "explosive" in this point.
I know there are a lot of webmasters in this rooms and every webmaster "is" between 10-100 or more girls. so you dont have a chance if you are only "one person" there.
I tried german yahoo-chatrooms since half a year and now I think that no one from the boys there is interested in paying for something.

for me yahoo chats arent a way to advertise.

but I made good experiences with the "yahoo cam girl sites" like webcamlive or else.
