Hey Mona,
What a great website! Well done sweetie. You missed off the VS network though (Flirt4Free, etc) which gets more visitors than quite a few of the other sites you mentioned.
In my years modelling I've worked for quite a few sites and networks but settled on VS due to it's size, high per min rate of pay and the fact that you only have to wait a week for your money.

What is flirt4free.com's percentage for model payout? I just came across them for the first time today and they look awesome, but hard to compare when we don't know the payout of each site.
Any info you can give is very helpful! |

Hi Sweetie,
The payout from VS is normally worked out on a fixed rate per minute, as opposed to a percentage.
Unlike other sites VS (Flirt) has a fixed rate per min (very high too at $6) models cannot set their own rate. I've worked on tonnes of sites, and those where you set your own rate I've found that the only way to get a decent amount of pvts is to set your rate amongst the lowest. (Unless you are a recognised top model with a big following).
So although the percentage maybe higher at other sites the actual per minute rate that you get paid is low, as you have to compete price wise with other models.
At VS that price war is not there, it's a set fee. And the actual per min rate is higher. At the end of the day it's the actual money earned that I think is important, not the possible earnings if you set your rate really high on the variable rate sites.
The rates that models get paid deend on the studio they work for, so shop around. The rates normally depend on factors such as popularity, cam quality, ability to speak English, looks etc.
To give an idea, my studio (see below) pays new models $1.35 per minute of standard pvt chat (plus $0.45 per voyeur per min) and pays 100% of bonuses and tips.
The thing with VS is to check with your studio the exact rates of pay before signing to a studio. There are many studios that pay differently, some keep some or all of the tips and bonuses, some don't pay for VODs some pay extremely low per minute rates (particularly those based in Eastern Europe)
Just shop around and check.
VS is a great network, I cannot fault them, I obviously recommend my own studio, but do urge you to shop around before signing with anyone. |

| Thank you so much for the detailed response! I appreciate you taking the time. I think my plan is right now to start off on cams.com as I don't want to work with a studio. Once I get my toes wet I will probably move to VS as it seems very classy! |
