You all know that cams.com aka Streamray has a zillion other names. Legendary Lars originally had it and had people buying every other domain or slowsite out there. Then once it went to other people, it was going further downhill. One of the first main issues was that whatever girl was in the profile pictures was not who you would see in livechat !
I am thinking mismanagement. While some features have gotten better, most the models cannot represent theirselves correctly. Most camhosts cannot choose what pictures can be viewed or not viewed. The delete buttons do not work for everyone. So you have to email better pictures if you want better pictures. However, the old crummy random pictures cannot be deleted!
Most the clientele got to be minute-men, so I left. One time they falsely accused me of fisting when it was simply a toy zoomed in extra close. How anyone could think that was a fist is beyond me! I even viewed what they were referring to in their so-called "confirmation" and it does not look like a fist. Another time I was falsely accused of not getting undressed when my undress time is under a minute! If only minute men, what the f? Wonder if this also is a studio "shill" posing as disgruntled minute man. Ridiculous. Some go out immediately without even seeing me! There is excessive price wars and studios downing the ratings of other camhosts to get their girls on the front page! Bullshit ! Before all this crap happened I stayed a 9.9 rating, charged more, % was more, and also had better clients. They have an apparent new help department. Do not know where located now or what is going on. I am thinking that huge proceeds come from Adultfriendfinder.com and alt.com, but that with all the free sites and excessive charges for aff, that the customer base is leaving left and right.
Before getting into camming, I was with a huge corporation that was more lucrative than streamray and they folded due to gross mismanagement. Noone would listen to anyone who knew how to fix the company! Hope this does not happen to Streamray !

I am not sure where your getting info from about Streamray aka cams.com I have been with streamy for over 6 years. I started off with them when I was being paid 45% I have made top performer when they offerd it 4 times.

and I haven't had any issues with cams of ratings or being moved around. I have met the staff of Streamate at many conventions. and they are doing well for themswelves. Right now there isnt any company out there who isn't in debt especially now more then ever. There is penthouse and girls gone wild asking for the bailout money from the usa government.

The webcam business principles still stand the same, there is always going to be studios who will take advantage and try and cheat the business, but I have always known as long as the sites pay me on time and their checks clear I have no isues with what they do behind the scenes as long as I am getting traffic into my room.

Even if i I get 1000s minute men in my room that still adds up to money and a pay check. There is ways of avoiding minute but that is all in your sales techniques.

Actually streamray merged with AFF -- but in such a way that AFF was in control. Then AFF bought penthouse, and renamed themselves to penthouse. It is a complex deal but you can see some of what is going on by reading the IPO details.

Lars no longer seems to be in the driving seat.
