I was doing this for free for hours a week--for fun! Until I found out I could make a living doing this. So I'm one of those people who say: I can't believe I'm actually getting paid to do this!

I LOVE it!! I had a good job before I started camming part time, eventually I left it and make a little less now but I have fun at work all day and have flexibility in my job the way you just can't get working for someone else. I have a great time working on cam, especially when clients become regulars. A lot of genuine friendships have resulted from my work in the web cam industry, so a little extra money for rent is not the only thing that I get from my job!!!

Hey, it's been awhile since I was here. I'd like to add something else here.

Some hosts have said they do webcamming ONLY because they love it and they don't need the money, blah, blah, blah...they are well-off, blah blah blah (well, I don't believe them but I'll just go along with this for a minute to make a point)

Well if they don't need the money, why are they working on a paid site? OK so they may not want to do Yahoo IM because they might get a minor, but there are TONS and TONS of websites that monitor for minors and are free, for those who want to get their fetish on and get naked for free, without the rules & regulations of a work website.

I realize to each their own and they can do and be on whatever site they want, but IMO, it doesn't make sense, but I don't believe them anyway. If I had PLENTY of money, I'd be traveling the world more, expanding my mind with new cultures or doing other great things than being at home sitting in front of a computer--OK I'd do that every once in awhile, being the exhibitionist that I am, but to go on for hours daily like some hosts do that "claim" they don't need the money, and are there only because they love it--uh, yeah right. Either they are lying or are crazy! lol! Just my opinion.

That's the problem in life isn't it -- finding the thing you CAN do, you WANT to do and which people are willing to PAY you for! Getting all three is the goal.
