Hehe,
the best is when you love your job and make good money : ) Whenever i'm fed up with all the rude people, i just recall how boring my economist job was and how rude and male cahuvinist boss i had for how little money, and i recall all the nice travels that I made from this webcam money...and it helps I think one of the biggest treasure of this kind of job is the flexible worktime and being our own boss. We are much more motivated when we work for ourself. So looking back , this is the job i love the most! |

I agree with you AsianJ. My 27y/o sister was recently dignosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) and I had to go help her through this hard time until we moved her home (back with parents). I stayed out of town with her while she was in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks trying to keep her spirits up and praying that she would walk again.  However, I DID miss the camming and DID miss the attention and wanted a few minutes I could sneak away to cam.
However, now that I'm back home, I constantly call my sister between my shifts to check on her to help keep her spirits up. I even mentioned that to my clients about me being away due to my sister illness and I was shocked how much my regulars STILL ask about how she's doing before I start a show.
So divas, some of those guys out there really do care and really wish well on our well-beings. 
AsianJ....I really enjoyed ALLLLLLLLL the added attention I got for being away for sosooooooo long. In 3 hours, i actually cammed approx. 160 min. In freechat I couldn't even get a good convo in since I kept being interrupted for pvts. SOOOOO, I do think about it and do crave more and more everyday.
Help me AsianJ....I'm addicted girl. LOL

Sorry to bump an older thread but I liked the feedback in this one and have my own experience working for a webcam company so can throw in 2cents ;)
Indeed there are girls who love the job, whether it's from getting off on the kink of exhibitionism or the joys of autoeroticism or just from finding it easy.
Those that do enjoy the job usually end up lasting longest, developing a good following or community or fanbase, and earning the most at it.

So true. I've been a model on MFC now for over 3 months and love it. The fact that we can be naked in public chat and earn tips is unique and allows for more fun than other sites. The community feel on MFC is the best.
I can certainly say I love what I do and am currently aiming to make it my full time gig. |

Noo way! Livejasmin is a Hungarian site, and Camcontacts, if I'm not mistaken, based in the UK. How did you come up with the idea of them being the same? lol
Totally different rules and most of all, customer service!
On Camcontacts the customer service is excellent, I experienced it as a host and as an affiliate/webmaster too!
...at least it would be a HUGE surprise if CC was owned by LJ )) |
