I am not sure if its true but i saw it on webmaster boards, that Streamate is selling the videos of models to sites like redtube.

I am very pissed abotu this since they never informed us about it, and also they are really abusing the part of the contract saying they own the images produced on the site.

im very pissed off with Streamate also! i saw a few of my recorded shows from streamate on spankwire and anyone can watch them for free! they even add wrong description to the videos calling us whores, housewives etc... that really sucks!!!! but what can we do?

BLOCKED OR NOT?

Another matter also exists with the block country option - take it from me, IT DOES NOT WORK. Many sites offer this false option, just so you feel secure and comfortable on cam. Meanwhile thousands of performers complain they can still be viewed in their countries and neighborhoods. So dont be a fool. My best advise is to never show your face. Uphold your integrity, now and far after you are out of this evasive business.

If you talk with Streamate support you MIGHT be able to get the videos removed from these sites, I had a model who went through this, but she had LEFT the site and her streamate acount was closed when she asked that the remove her videos, eventually they did

Selling voyeur cams viewing and video's without making the model aware she is being filmed and/or providing the model with a share of those profits, that is EXPLOITMENT.

As an important topic seeking legitimate support by the model community I would suggest taking the time to not only read through the forum, but also educate yourself''s on the laws supporting model release agreements and also re-reading the model agreement carefully to understand it's meaning. FOR EXAMPLE:


If you carefully read the model's agreement for Streamate, webcams, and all those other ones mentioned in several posts you will read the following:

"I agree to give [AGENCY] a perpetual license to use any content that I produce and submit to [AGENCY] and its computer systems in the marketing, advertising, promotions or sales of any products or services of [AGENCY], affiliates or agents on the Internet. "

In the above paragraph you will note that you are agreeing to the rights the Agency has
over your images and videos. But you are also fully entitled to intelligently and knowingly be aware of any submissions made; meaning you agree to release those images as quoted in the contract, " that I produce and that I submit."

Insomuch, the entire business of filming models without their knowledge and creating videos that are sold for a profit, where the model takes none of those profits is a complete violation of the model agreement. In addition it is a evasive and wrongful business practice to not only do that but also permit voyeur mode cams while the model is performing and not provide a share of those profits either. Not making the models aware of the formentioned issues is EXPLOITMENT and legally wrongful.

-Please note that the evasive and illegitimate means agencies take to exploit and profit as much as possible of all models legally cancels the agreement.

First because the model must be intelligently and knowingly aware she/he is being recorded or observed and second that any content issued must be submitted to agency by the model.

I hope this clarifies any confusion many models seem to have about the agencies model agreement.
