potential earning per month?

Hi all,

I have started working as a webcam model since September this year, but due to some family problems and following disability to work from home I had to stop working for two months - November and December.

Although Im working from home, I have connected myself with an agent (studio) that has registered me on one American site (naked.com) and one German site (livestrip.com) that have members area only. This business scheme really seems to be working for me, as I have those German websites opened and everytime I have a customer entering my room, I get some money, whether Im naked or not.

From January 2009, my household is supposed to get a high-speed internet and that way I would be able to register myself on one or two more american sites and was thinking also to register myself on 2 more german sites.

That way, I would work on three american sites where I would keep the members busy in the free chat, hoping to squeeze some private minutes out of them and IN THE SAME TIME, I would have three german (member area only) sites opened that would generate the money without much effort on my part.

I just wanted to ask, if any of you has the same business strategy, as I view this as the only and secure way how to make money, by diversifying all the money making sources.

As if Im going to develop this strategy from January (by being connected on 6 chats in the same time), I wanted to ask, what would be the potential of making money. For me, being from Central Europe, somewhere between 2000 - 3000 USD per month would be absolutely great money to earn with the commitment on my part being online 5 days a week for 12 hours each day.

Do you think that my financial goal is reachable?

Well first of all, If you have an internet connection at home, why work for a studio? Why not work for yourself and keep most of your money. The sites you're on right now are just a waste of time. I do not recommend them at all. For the goal you're looking to reach i'd say you should be on imlive.com, Webcams.com and cam.com(tho im not on this one i've heard nothing but good reviews) I make more than your goal in a month but it differs ..sometimes i have a good month then i'll have a bad month but usually business is good. I hope this helps..

P.s I'm also an independent camgirl so not only do i work on big sites i also do shows on yahoo and list on camgirl listing sites...That, I highly recommend if you can provide good customer service and have good business skill.

I am sorry but I have to disagree with your strategy, and I'll tell you why:
I have seen lots of fairly new hosts living under the impression that the more sites they are on simultaneously, the more money they will make. That would be really cute, but it's 100% wrong.
First of all Free chat based sites (like LiveJasmin for example) require your FULL attention. You need to be very responsive and never, at any given time, ignore your potential members. Having THREE free chat based sites running at the same time will bring you exactly what you said: "a few squeezed privates".
Regarding the other three pay per view sites, same story, because of the following scenario: A member enters your site #1. You have a chat, start a show. In the meantime, another member enters your site #2. You will either a) - Ignore him and hope he's enjoying the show and stay. b) - Start chatting with him. This is when the guy from site #1 will see he doesn't have your full attention and most likely leave.
The best and most productive strategy is using a combination of one Free chat based site + one Pay per view site, for example day 1: LiveJasmin+CamContacts. Day 2: Webcams+ImLive. Day 3: Streamray+Streamate.
Analyze your earnings at the end of the week, see on which ones you had the best traffic. Once you accomodate VERY well and easily juggle with two, maybe even three guys in your private without them even realizing they are not alone with you, pick a third site, prefferably another Pay per view one, and work on all three.
Bottom line, working on six sites will only bring short privates, lots of head aches and not too many regulars willing to spend hours in your room.
Good luck with your strategy though, but after over 8 years of working on cam sites I can assure you that more sites will never mean more earnings, on the contrary:)

Thank you both very much for your answers. Both strategies do make sense and I have to agree that being on 6 sites in the same time is probably a little bit too much. However I think I will be able to work on 2 free chat sites and still give full attention to both of them, as Im just very good at multitasking and a very very fast typer.
