Help - need to find compatible camcorder

Hi girls and guys
I wanted to get a camcorder to improve the quality of our webcam output and to make a few videos but blew it! I bought a Panasonic NV-GS50b on advice from a shop but they didn't explain that it only works as a webcam in microsoft messenger.
The shop have offered to do an exchange but we don't know what to get instead. It cost £400 (about $750) and we want to spend about the same amount but must get one that works with the Netlife 247 software and with yahoo. If anyone can suggest a model (any make) that they use and find OK I will be grateful.... the Sony camcorder mentioned in a previous thread doesn't seem to be available anymore or I would go for that one......

Well I use a Sharp Camcordor for my shows

And there is about 3 options you can use to connnect your Camcorder to your computer so you can use it to do cam shows.

I use this one to connect my camcorder to my computer works great and Show a very great picture quality.

If you add in the video capture card and a dlink or dazzle product you can work 2 sites at once not really recommended b/c one site is usually slower then the other.
